Forget the Lil B curse. Forget the Kardashian curse. Forget the Adidas curse. The Beard was back on Monday, looking like a robbed MVP and dropping 37 points on his former team and teammates KD & Russell Westbrook….and all of their teammates.
“I hit the first two shots and I was like: `OK, I’ve got something today,” said Harden. “I’m sure all great shooters go through droughts. Mine was pretty terrible, I admit. But it will change. It will all come around. It’s a long season and I’ll go on five, six, 10-game streaks where I’m just on fire and it will even itself out.”
The Rockets also ended their 3 game losing streak which was one of the worst starts in NBA history with 3 consecutive 20 point losses.
“They’d lost three in a row and they should be desperate,” Westbrook said. “We let them off the hook.”
Maybe, but I don’t expect to see too many 20 point losses and 0 for 10 from 3 games from Harden anytime soon – regardless of who doesn’t like him, who he’s dating and what shoes are on his feet.
