Out of the 30 NBA teams, only the Denver Nuggets have a lower average home attendance than the Minnesota Timberwovles. You would never guess that from the photo above, but those “Minnesota fans” aren’t there an hour early to watch the Wolves, they are there to watch Steph Curry…warm-up! Not play in a game, they are there an hour early to watch Steph Curry dribble and shoot by himself while crying about the franchise passing on Curry TWICE so they could draft Ricky Rubio and Jonny Flynn instead.

For the fans who stayed for the game, they got to see a surprisingly good one. The Wolves lost by just 5 points behind 25 from Wiggins, 24 and 11 boards from Karl-Anthony Towns and 20 and 11 assists from Rubio.
Steph finished with 19 points, 11 assists and 7 boards but was just 6 of 17 from the floor and 2 of 9 from 3. 1 of those 2 3-pointers was a memorable dance and in-your-face shot with #1 pick Karl Towns.
Now that’s worth the price of admission!
And i’m sure for many others, so is this…
