I had 4 tickets to the Rockets Hawks game last week which meant I owed 3 apologies after maybe the most boring game I’ve ever seen live.  Harden sat out, Lin left with an injury before we even took our seats in the first quarter, Dwight didn’t get a double double and nobody on the Hawks did anything worth mentioning in the blowout.

Last night the Spurs were hosting a “Sports Industry Professionals” networking event and I had tickets but at the last moment decided not to attend.  That was a mistake as I ended up missing a great performance and finish. Tim Duncan became the oldest player in NBA history to record a 20/20 game and the last 2 of his 23 points was a cold blooded game winner from the stoic looking legend.  The shot broke the heart of Hawks fans who thought Jeff Teague’s 3 pointer with 4.7 seconds to tie the game was enough to push the game into OT.
