It’s 2017 and 40-year old Vince Carter and 34-year old Tony Parker are still showing the youngbloods of the game how much game is left in their tank.
In Game 6, Carter scored 10 of his 12 points in the first half, which included a vintage putback dunk and Tony Parker had the best shooting night of his playoff career, by knocking down 11 of 14 shots for 27 points. He also made all four free throws and was 1 of 2 from three.
Since being held scoreless in the Spurs Game 3 loss, Parker has averaged 21.6 points on 58% shooting and 5 assists over the last 3 games.
