On Thanksgiving, I tweeted “one of the things I’m most thankful for are Trae Young treys.” Those treys by Trae gave us years of joy during his high school days and are still bringing us joy as he launches them from a few feet behind the college line. And it’s only a matter of time until he’s doing it in the NBA. But for the time being, I’m thankful for his deep heat checks and big numbers at Oklahoma.

On Thursday, Young scored a game-high 28 but it wasn’t enough to prevent the Arkansas Razorbacks from giving the Sooners their first loss of the season, 92-83. This was also Young’s first game without a double-double; He had 13 and 10 in his first two games and just five on Thursday.
