I was around 8 when I first answered the question “what do you want to be when you grow up” and meant the answer. It was a special effects make-up person. Doesn’t sound so appealing now but when I saw “An American Werewolf in London” as a 3rd grader my life changed. I became a horror film junkie and saw all of the 80 franchise films (Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, Halloween, etc) and discovered lesser known but great horror gems like Evil Dead while I was still in Elementary school. Decades later i’m still a fan of the genre so here’s the trailers to my favorite horror films in no particular order.
