Step-back! Spin-moves! Between-the-legs dunks!
For the 2nd time in the past week, NBA pro-trainer Drew Hanlen has posted a video of Joel Embiid working out that had 76ers fans feeling real excited. Combine those clips with last year’s footage of the 7-footer shooting 3s, photos of his body transformation since 2011 and the thought of him playing alongside Ben Simmons and 76ers fans are ready to have an orgasm.
But the reality is, it’s been 2 years since Philly drafted him with the 3rd pick in the 2014 draft and he hasn’t played a minute in a NBA game yet. So until he steps on the court and shows off that step-back shot, the only thing I can really get excited about is his funny posts on Twitter and Instagram (#TrustTheProcess).
