Ty Berry (Newton, KS) is one of the Midwest's top guards in the Class of 2020. He was also one of the most productive players in the 15U division of the 2017 Under Armour Association (UAA).
15 year old Ty Berry and his KC Run GMC squad faced UAA's leading 15U scorer Jamal Mashburn Jr (Miami, FL) and his Miami Vipers at the UAA Finals near Atlanta.
The score was close for 3 quarters but KC Run GMC pulled away in the 4th to win 66-46 (mercy rule ended game early).
Ty Berry scored 22 points (4 3-pointers), 7 rebounds, 3 assists in 27 minutes. Katrell Raimey added 11 points. Khayden Hooks added 10 points, 10 rebounds for KC.
Jamal Mashburn Jr (son of NBA vet Jamal Mashburn) led the Vipers scoring 22 points in 27 mins (11 on free throws) to go with 3 assists.
Jamal Mashburn (the dad and former NBA All-Star) coached the young Vipers. Tony Sanders added 10 for the Vipers.
