Down by 12 with less than 2 minutes left in the game, Corey Brewer threw Kenneth Faried down to the floor as Faried was attempting a wide open shot. The Manimal can blame his teammate Ty Lawson for that hard foul because if Ty wouldn’t have broke Brewer’s ankles, causing him to to slide from the free throw line to under the basket, then the frustrated Brewer wouldn’t have been there waiting for Faried.
Despite a 45 point 4th quarter from Denver and a 31 point 11 assist performance from Lawson, Brewer and the Wolves did come out victorious with a 132-128 win.
