We said 5’9 Tyler Ulis was the steal of the draft when the Suns picked him with the 34th pick in the draft. We repeated our thoughts after he put up 11 points (3-4 fg, 5-6 ft), 7 assists, 5 rebounds, 3 steals (and 1 push on 6’10 Noah Vonleh) in just 27 minutes. We are now trying to nail that thought into the heads of non-believers after watching him score 19 points, dish out 4 assists and bury a deeeeeep game-winning 3-pionter in OT vs the Nuggets on Saturday.

Critics are going to come back with, “It’s just summer league.” And I will respond with, “Just wait until the fall, when clutch shots and defenders continue to fall.”
