Elite 24 Highlights: In the 2011 game at Venice Beach, Randle helped the Marques Johnson squad to a 142-132 win over the Raymond Lewis squad by scoring 10 points and grabbing four rebounds. In 2012, Randle won the Under Armour Elite 24 Slam Dunk Contest after agreeing the participate the day before. The next day, he was named one of the MVPs of the game, making 13-of-14 field goals en route to a game-high 27 points to lead the Ray Lew club to a 164-138 win.
Post Elite 24: After missing a majority of his senior season with a broken foot, Randle was still named a McDonald’s and Jordan Brand Classic All- American. He helped Kentucky advance to the 2014 NCAA title game and was named SEC Rookie of the Year. The No. 7 pick of the 2014 NBA Draft, Randle hopes to help turn around the L.A. Lakers following a dismal 2014- 15 season.
