“Listen, I’ve been doing this for a long, long time [and] been doing this for a lot of games — and I’ve never seen anything like that in my life,” Coach Donovan said. “My heart goes out to [Jake] because he really tried to make the right play.”

Posting this game winner by Florida Gator Jacob Kurtz for the Florida State Seminoles brings me so much joy because I’m an alumni of FSU. With that said, I do feel bad for the senior walk-on. With 0.4 seconds on the clock, Kurtz accidentally tipped in a way-off 3-point attempt by Devon Bookert for the Seminoles which gave them a 65-63 win and snapped a 5-game win streak the Gators had on their rival.

“It was just one of those shots you shake your head over,” Seminoles coach Leonard Hamilton said. “I’ve been on the other end those many times, so I’ll take it.”

“At first I was looking around like, did that happen? Then I saw the scoreboard change and I was like, oh man, we’re winning. I started going crazy.” said FSU guard Montay Brandon.
