The big story might have been the match-up between #3 and #4 picks Jahlil Okafor and Kristaps Porzingis but the rookie who shined the brightest in Monday’s victory for the Knicks was undrafted rookie Maurice Ndour.

The Senegalese forward scored 23 points on 10 of 15 from the field and 3 of 3 from the line in 28 minutes of action.  He also had 6 rebounds, an assist, steal and block. The block was a memorable one that came on Oakfor near the end of regulation which was followed up by a step-back jumper by Ndour.

In the the Knicks win vs the Lakers on Sunday, Ndour had an impressive 8 points, 8 rebounds, 3 steals and 3 blocks.
