The odds are if you grew up in the 80s or early 90s and liked the Showtime Lakers (check) and/or Michael Jordan (check) then you hated the Bad Boy Pistons. I had all the respect in the world for the ball handing wizardry of Zeke, the D of Joe D and the genius of the other great Chuck D of the 80s, but it was going to be a cold day in hell before I would compliment anybody or thing associated with Bill Laimbeer.
Well, 25 years later, I’m finally going to say something nice about the back to back Detroit champs and it’s not because of Detroit’s Daly, Dumars or Dennis but because of Dylan and Dakota.
Check the pics of the Gonzalez Twins beach visit and you will see why i’m forgiving John Salley for saying Jordan was even’t a top 4 player. And a quick shout out to our friend and ball handling wizard Grayson “The Professor” Boucher who shared some tips with the UNLV ballers at Venice Beach.
