Earlier in the month, Dirk was talking about adding the skyhook to his offensive repertoire and said “Once I’ve got a running start, I can actually shoot it OK. The problem is I’m 36. I don’t get a lot of running starts anymore, so I’m screwed.”

Last night against the Grizzlies, the 36 year old Dirk got a running start to the rim so he decided to throw down a vintage 2 hand Dirk dunk but his 37 year old ex teammate, Vince Carter, was waiting at the rim to show him some vintage Vinsanity.

Carter only played 8 minutes and finished with the empty looking box score of 3 points, 2 rebounds and 1 block but that 1 block was the play of the day and enough for us Vinsanity fans to start reminiscing again about our favorite epidemic.

But we don’t have to go back to 2000 to remember impressive blocks by Carter.  Here’s his top 10 blocks from 2014.

And 2013…

I think you get the point but let’s keep the block party going.
