As a fan of Vince Carter for the past 21 years, this play just might end up my favorite play from Carter this season and maybe even as a Mav.  It’s not a dunk, it’s not a block, it’s not a game winner or anything that makes you think of Vinsanity but an incredible effort by a 37 year old Vince “The Worm” Carter to get an offensive board from the much younger and more athletic Paul George.  The rebound also lead to a 3-pointer by Devin Harris that put the Mavs up by 9 with 9 minutes left in the game.

“It’s a spiritually uplifting play for our team and everybody in the arena,” Carlisle said. “You see a 37-year-old guy go up three times and then tear it down. That’s big time, and he’s showing you how much he wants to win.”

Dallas would win by 11 and gave the Pacers their 4th straight loss.  Carter had 10 points and 7 rebounds.  5 of those boards were offensive.
