During last night’s game between the Wizards and Raptors, Rudy Gay and underrated rapper Wale had a friendly game of Reggie & Spike while Rudy was lighting up the Wizards for 12 points in the second quarter.    The exchange led to Raptors announcer Matt Devlin to comment about the rapper by saying “Wale’s inspiring. And I’m sure somebody on Twitter can tell me exactly if they’ve ever heard of Wale. He’s not Drake; that’s for sure.”

Wale didn’t appreciate the trash talk from Devlin and took to Twitter to reply.

Not satisfied with showing his frustration with Matt behind 140 characters he tried to confront him at the announcers table. Devlin has yet to address the (non) issue on Twitter but if you look at his timeline it’s obvious he’s very proud of Terrence Ross for winning the 2013 NBA Slam Dunk “Contest.”

I’m not hating at all on Wale and still consider him one of my favorite rappers but anybody else prefer the early Wale over the MMG Wale?
