For the past 3 or so years, every single time the greatest dunker of all-time, Vincent Lamar Carter, threw down a dunk – no matter how weak – bloggers, writers and the internet had to start throwing out the “turning back the hands of time” stuff. Well, on Wednesday night, the 39 year old Carter really did turn back the hands of time when he threw down a contested reverse alley-oop.

Unfortunately, Carter was ice-cold from downtown and missed all 5 of 3-point attempts and finished just 2 of 12 from the field. You might be thinking that’s not a big deal, but just last week I was raving about how Carter is one of the most underrated shooters of all-time after a 5 for 5 from 3 quarter against the Lakers.

Oh well, the Grizzlies still won and here’s an updated montage of Vince’s best dunks of the season so far.
