It’s summertime which means basketball camps galore. Camps headlined by big All-Star names, big sponsors and big registration prices many families can not afford.
Then there’s camps like the one future Heat star Justise Winslow put on in H-Town this past weekend. It was a FREE camp that actually had it’s headline NBA player interacting with the kids for the whole weekend. It was a FREE camp that gave out a free pair of sneakers, socks, backpack and a uniform from Adidas, headphones from JBL and meals to the kids and parents! It was a FREE camp that actually praised defense!
My only issue with the Invitational camp, which was put on by the Robin’s House Family Foundation, is they didn’t invite me to hang out and I live in Houston.
