Wesley Matthews has been in a shooting slump. He’s coming off a 1 for 9 night and it’s been 13 games since he hit 50% of his shots. On Sunday, he broke out of that slump in a major way by scoring a career-high 36 points (28 in the 2nd half). 30 of those 36 came off of 3-pointers as Wes went 10 for 17 from downtown – 8 coming after half-time.

“It’s one of those nights where those same shots that I’ve been shooting and missing, they were falling tonight,” Matthews said. “They kept finding me, and I kept letting them fly.”

If that wasn’t enough, Wes – returning this season from a ruptured Achilles tendon – tied his season-high in rebounds (6) and had a season-high in assists (5) too.
