I know we are just a few days into the NBA season but Friday’s double OT thriller between the Orlando Magic and Oklahoma City Thunder has to end up as one of the best games of the season. Not only did we get a high scoring (139-136) game with 2 extra sessions, we got 2 amazing 3-point shots at the end of regulation to force the first OT. The first big shot came from Victor Oladipo and the second came from Russell Westbrook who banked in a near half court 3 at the buzzer.
We also got 2 great performances from Kevin Durant and Beastbrook: the Thunder all-star combined to score 91 points and grab 23 rebounds. Westbrook was just 2 points and 2 assists away from the very rare 50 point triple double.
Is it too early for me to also say Co-MVP and NBA scoring leaders?
