Watching John Wall – one of the fastest, if not the fastest player in the league – faking out James “not one of the best defenders in the league” Harden with a behind-the-back dribble at mid-court is impressive and entertaining but not really surprising. Watching 6’11 Nikola Jokic do the same move on Draymond “one of the best defenders in the league” Green was surprising and then seeing him finish the coast-to-coast move with a dunk was very impressive.
Both Wall and Jokic also had impressive stat lines in their losses: Wall double-doubled with 18 points and 12 assists while Jokic had a team-high 21 points to go with 13 rebounds.
