The Trailblazer’s Will Barton went off against the Mavs yesterday and easily had his best game of the season/career.  His 22 points matches his output in the last games and his 13 rebounds matches his last 8.

Down by 20 heading into the 4th quarter, Will scored 12 of his 22 in the final quarter including a reverse alley-oop that should give him his debut on every top 10 plays of the day list.  Bad news for Barton is that his heroics weren’t enough to make the Mavs blow a 26 point lead as Dallas held on to win by 6 and gave Portland their 8th straight loss.

As for Will, if Wes Matthews’ ankle isn’t feeling better soon, I expect to see a lot more Will in the near future.
