Vine God Steve Noah said it best when he wrote the caption “Why bother with layups when you are Steph Curry.”
During the 1st quarter of the Warriors game against John Wall and the Wizards, Steph followed up a 3-pointer in Paul Pierce’s face by getting a steal and pulling up for a 3-pointer on a 1-man fast break.
Despite the Curry show in the first half, the Wizards were only down by 3 at halftime but then the 3rd quarter happened.
“The shots started to fall as we got momentum and confidence in the third quarter and got our crowd into it. It was fun,” Curry said.
Fun for everyone but the Wizards who only managed 1 field goal in an 9 point quarter where they were outscored by 21.
The Warriors went on to win 107-76 and Curry had a game-high 24 points in just 28 minutes.’
