The 6’8″ 214 pound Canadian’s 23.4 points, 11.2 rebounds, 2.6 blocks, 2.5 assists and 3.35 GPA had every college in the US salivating to sign the consensus #1 player in the Class of 2013.   The new Jayhawk Andrew Wiggins added another award to his trophy collection this week when we accepted the The Gatorade Athlete of the Year award.

Brandon Knight was the last basketball player to win the award that was created in 2003 and given to LeBron James.
