2 for 5. That is what Zach LaVine was from the free throw line on Wednesday and that is the stat that stands out the most to me because Zach was on fire against the Thunder.  In just 29 minutes, LaVine connected on 5 of 8 from downtown and a perfect 9 of 9 on the rest of his field goals for 35 points.

The 35 is a season-high for LaVine and in the NBA for a non-starter. It’s also a franchise-high for scoring off the bench.

Despite the big game, Coach Sam Mitchell still found something negative to say about Zach, “He’s playing fast, but thinking slow.”

LaVine, Wiggins and Towns will be playing in this year’s NBA Rising Stars game at All-Star weekend. Wiggins will be playing against his other 2 teammates as a member of Team World.
