In 2013 we watched Zach LaVine win the Ballislife All-American Dunk Contest and we said in 2 years he’s going to kill the NBA dunk contest.  In 2014, we watched Zach LaVine win the Seattle Pro-Am Dunk Contest and we said next year’s he’s going to kill the NBA dunk contest.  Last night, on February 14th of 2015, we watched Zach LaVine kill the NBA dunk contest and we said…wait until next year when he pulls out the dunks he didn’t have to pull out this year.

Zach not only had the crowd and the internet going nuts but he had a suite full of NBA legends which included the very hilarious Dikembe Mutombo going nuts with his assortment of between the leg dunks which started with an homage to his childhood favorite film ‘Space Jam.’ But not everybody was so crazy about the Jordan tribute.  During the press conference after the dunk contest win, a reporter actually said his dunks don’t beat Michael Jordan’s dunk…in the movie….moving on.

If you didn’t get a chance to watch the majority of the world’s introduction to Zach Lavine then enjoy the following. If you have already seen this as well as his previous dunk exhibitions then consider Saturday night a teaser to a full film which will air during next year’s all-star game.
