Forget Mayweather and Pacquiao, a Z-Bo vs Boogie main event is pay-per-view material. The two magnets for techs and bad news almost got into a little scuffle but thankfully DeMarcus Cousins was able to keep his cool as Zach Randolph did a lot of unnecessary barking.
After a layup by Randolph in the 3rd quarter, Zach got into Cousins’ face and started yelling at him which led to a tech. The next time down the court, Zach got the ball and went at Cousins again but this time by throwing a couple of elbows to his face. Although Cousins did keep his cool on this play, unlike in the 2nd quarter when he kicked a chair after receiving a foul, he would have to head to the bench after picking up his 4th foul on the following play.
Cousins finished the game with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists in 24 minutes.
Zach Randolph had 20 points, 5 rebound and this lucky shot in the Grizzlies loss.
