Chicago's coldest shooter: 8th grade phenom 6'3 Zack Norvell Jr.'s SICK Season mixtape

6’3 Zack Norvell, Jr. led Chicago’s Beasley Academic Center (public grammar school) 8th Grade team to a 43-2 overall record. Zack and his Beasley teammates avenged their 2 mid-season losses to Morgan Park by defeating them to win the Chicago City Championship (8th grade division).
A strong, highly-skilled, power forward, Zachary Norvell averaged 16 points per game to lead Chicago’s deepest grammar school team. He's best known for his clutch, DEEP 3-pointers and no-look passes. Following in fellow Beasley alum Derrick Rose’s footsteps, Zach will be attending Simeon Career Academy (Chicago, IL) along with several of his former Beasley teammates.
After the 8th grade season ended, Zack also led the Chicago All-Star team to victory over the Illinois team at Sonny Parker’s annual 8th Grade All Star games held at Simeon, including some DEEP 3's and he led the Chicago/Illinois team over Team Indiana in Coach Thorpe's "Real Deal" All-Star game at Collins HS. (highlights included).
Thanks to Zack and his family and everyone at Chicago Beasley, especially legendary Hall of Fame Coach Thomas Green. For more videos from Chicago Beasley and Chicago’s high school stars of tomorrow, watch ballislife.com.
