This should really piss off “Warriors’ haters” and probably annoy the average basketball fan.
Up by 28 midway through the 3rd quarter, Zaza Pachulia celebrated his second and last bucket of the game by slapping his ass and doing a little shimmy the way Kevin Durant did against the Raptors in the Warriors previous game. The big difference is Durant’s difficult shot came in the final minutes of a close and important game and KD was subtle about it; Zaza’s bucket was in the middle of a blowout and he kept smacking his ass while most of his teammates were already on the other end of the court.
The celebration dance also annoyed commentator Jalen Rose, who called Zaza a “half baked Connor McGregor.”
When asked about the dance after the game, Kevin Durant jokingly replied, “It was terrible. Horrible. We’ll talk about that.”
Klay agreed it was terrible and hilariously caught himself before saying how terrible Zaza’s shooting has been.
If you go to the 3:56 mark of the following video you can see KD’s doing the dance Zaza tried to do.
