As the end of the NFL season approaches, it’s time to start finding the best Super Bowl betting sites, so we know where to go for the final game of the 2022-23 NFL season.
We’ll guide you through this process, including discussions around our top sportsbooks for the event, bet types, promotions/bonuses, where you can bet, and a viewing guide for the game itself.
In the United States, this is a time of year that the sportsbooks look forward to most as their traffic soars through the roof. With that, you’ll hopefully benefit from generous bonuses and promotions that you can use to win some extra money.
So, when looking for the best Super Bowl betting sites, you want a site that’s routinely offered great lines on NFL games, has a great welcome bonus, and has a history of providing promotions for existing players. We look for a history of offering promotions because, until Super Bowl time rolls around, there’s no way to know what kind of offers to expect.
We’ll take a look at the four best Super Bowl betting sites on the market now.
On top of the prop bets that are expected for the Super Bowl, such as the length of the national anthem, the color of the Gatorade that’s poured at the end of the game, and the result of the opening coin toss, DraftKings always excels in offer single-player prop bets and promptly. These include passing, rushing, receiving, and touchdown props.
At the time of this writing, the Super Bowl is still a few weeks away, so it’s hard to know what the offers will be, so we’ll base it around what’s available now.
The welcome bonus at DraftKings Sportsbook could be better. It’s a 20% deposit bonus worth up to $1,000. However, instead of receiving the funds right away, they get pooled together, and you’ll draw $1 off of it per $25 wagered in cash. This is known as a “bet & get” offer.
Beyond that, DraftKings does an excellent job of odds boosts and daily promotions. For example, there’s a promotion going on right now for Wild Card Weekend, where if you bet on a team to win and lose, you’ll receive a bonus bet back.
When you open the DraftKings mobile app, you’ll start with a menu across the top with links to various things such as the sportsbook, quick parlay, flash bet, and more. As you scroll down, you’ll see a menu with the available promotions, followed by a menu for the available sports. You can click on these to go to a page dedicated to the offerings.
On the homepage, however, you’ll see the upcoming games for each sport. Along the bottom of the app is a menu with links to the homepage, live betting, your betslip/bet history, a list of sports, and rewards/promotions.
Lastly, in the upper left, you’ll see an account icon after you log in, which has links to withdraw, deposit, examine rewards, and also look at the tracker for the welcome bonus mentioned above.
All online sportsbooks are going to have your standard moneyline, total, and point spread wagers, but it’s the extra wagers that are more player-focused that excite me. FanDuel also has great prop bets. However, there are times when the library is smaller than some competitors, and they take a bit longer to release. However, they have great odds on Any Time Touchdown props, which are a fan favorite.
If there’s one thing that FanDuel Sportsbook has always been able to accomplish, it’s offering players fantastic bonuses and promotions. For example, its standard welcome bonus was always a $1,000 risk-free bet. However, now we’re finding another bet that may not have the $1000 tag but still offers incredible value. That offer is wagering $5 and getting $150 in free bets whether your wager wins or loses. So no matter what, you’re, at minimum, earning $145 in free bet value.
Upon opening the FanDuel Sportsbook mobile app, you’ll be asked which state you reside in. After this, you’ll be brought to the homepage, which begins with a menu across the top of the mobile app with icons for the various available sports, live betting, promotions, odds boosts, and more. As you continue down, you’ll see another menu for the advertised promotions, such as the “bet & get” offer outlined above.
Underneath this menu are where we dive into the upcoming games and another menu that will show you the available sports. You can click on these to see the upcoming games for each sport. Along the bottom of the app are links to the homepage, all sports, your bets, refer-a-friend, and your account.
For the Super Bowl, you’ll be able to create a One Game Parlay, which could include the point spread, total, and maybe a favorite player prop.
New players at BetMGM Sportsbook will receive a $1,000 risk-free bet. When you make your first wager—such as on the Super Bowl—you can make it while knowing that if you lose, you’ll get it back as a free bet.
It works because if your first bet is less than $50 and you lose, you’ll get a single free bet back. If it’s more than $50, you’ll get five free bets equal to 20% of the wager. So, if you wager $100 and lose, you’ll get five $20 free bets.
After downloading the BetMGM Sportsbook mobile app, you’ll select your state before heading to the homepage. At the top of the app, you’ll see links to log in and register with a search bar underneath it to search for your favorite sports, teams, and games. To the left of this is a collapsible menu for the available sports, too.
Another scrollable menu for the available sports and live betting is directly underneath this. Next up, you’ll find another scrollable menu, but this time for the promotions and odds boosts. Under this, we begin to dig into the games, starting with those that are upcoming.
Along the bottom of the app, you’ll find the betslip and a menu to take you to the sportsbook, online casino (in legal states), promotions, and your account. When you click on “Account,” you’ll be brought to a menu with links to BetMGM Rewards, Responsible Gaming, Help Center, and the ability to switch the state so long as you’re in another one.
We can’t discuss PointsBet betting markets without discussing their revolutionary product PointsBetting.
With PointsBetting, your winnings are based on how correct you are.
For example, the Buffalo Bills are playing the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl. The total is 45 points, and you bet $10 on the over. It’s the end of the game, and the Bills win 27-20. The total is 47, and you win your bet. However, instead of a standard betting line, you win your wager multiplied by the number of points you were right.
So, in the example above, you’d win $20.
PointsBet has a history of offering up to $2,000 in risk-free bets around the Super Bowl, but the current welcome bonus is five $100 free bets.
The exciting thing about this is that you get a $100 free bet each day over the first five days of having your account. Realistically, you could claim this on the Wednesday leading up to the Super Bowl and make a wager each day for it with a risk-free bet.
The PointsBet mobile app starts by showing the welcome bonus at the top of the app. It’s within a menu that shows this offer and the site’s other features.
Below are menus you can choose from—Featured, Live, and Next Up.
There’s a menu of the available sports that you can sort through for each of this sub-menus. Along the bottom of the app are links to a menu that opens on the left side of the app, a search option, live betting, quick parlay, and your bets.
The menu on the left has links to sports, live betting, live streaming, promos, quick parlay, odds boosts, and the Name A Bet feature. This feature allows you to pitch a bet to PointsBet. They’ll accept or deny the wager within 24 hours.
When the Super Bowl rolls around, all bets are off (no pun intended) regarding the type of offers you’ll see. Let’s run through some types of Super Bowl Betting Promos you may find.
Welcome bonuses get ramped up around this time of year. For example, PointsBet offered $2,000 in risk-free bets ($1,500 on PointsBetting; $500 on straight bets) and $100 in additional free bets. FanDuel is also known for increasing its risk-free bet, but it appears they’re leaning more toward the “bet & get” offer.
These can range anywhere from “bet & get” offers to odds boosts, profit boosts, and more. For example, DraftKings has offered small risk-free bets and odds boosts on parlays and other straight bets.
As you’ll see below, some sportsbooks tend to break out some offers beyond your standard sportsbook offers. FanDuel once offered Big Game Bingo, where you can have this virtual bingo board and mark things off as the game progresses to see if you win. Also, DraftKings had and now permanently has Squares. These are when you pick the final digit of the number of points each team will score. They’ve had contests with $75,000 in value.
With an event as monumental as the Super Bowl, there are seemingly never-ending ways to place wagers on the big game. Let’s discuss them below.
This is the most straightforward way of betting on the Super Bowl. The moneyline indicates the odds of which team will win the game outright. So, you may find an imbalance of odds. It won’t be a surprise to see one team have odds of -120 and the other +135. With -120, you’d need to wager $120 to win $100. With +135, you’d win $135 if you bet $100.
The point spread illustrates the power gap between the two teams in the Super Bowl. Considering these teams are the best in their respective conferences, it’s not uncommon that this line is right around a field goal (three points). So, if you see a team that is -2.5, they must win the game outright by three points or more. Conversely, if they’re +2.5, they must either win the game outright or lose by no more than two points. You can expect the odds for each side to be at or around -110.
Also known as the over/under, this is a bet where you’ll predict the combined number of points in the game. These bets will have a line of, for example, 45.5. The odds are always around -110, similar to the point spread.
A parlay is where you’ll pick multiple contests and add them to a single betslip. The odds are calculated by factoring in the individual betting odds of each game and the risk associated with needing each “leg” of the wager to win.
Additionally, you’ll be able to find Same Game Parlays, which is great for the Super Bowl since it’s a single game. You’ll add multiple events within the game, such as the point spread and two prop bets.
The Super Bowl always delivers fantastic prop bets that don’t require a lot of research but are more so for entertainment. This can also be an opportunity for a non-NFL fan to get some stake in the game.
These props include things such as the following:
Live betting allows you to wager on the Super Bowl as it’s progressing. However, the odds won’t be what they were at the beginning of the game. Instead, they’ll shift and change as the game progresses.
Online sports betting is continuing to spread across the United States, especially with 2023 arriving and the Super Bowl coming up.

If you’ve never wagered before and the Super Bowl will be your first time, let’s walk through how to get to a point where you’re making your first bet. We’ll go step-by-step.
As with any wager you’ll make, you’re taking a risk. None of us have crystal balls, but there are some strategies you can use to help yourself beat the books.
Super Bowl LVII is headed west to Arizona. On the broadcast, expect to hear Fox announcers Kevin Burkhardt, Greg Olsen and sideline reports Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi. This game will be available on your local FOX affiliate.
Expect each half of the game to take around 90 minutes and 20-30 minutes for the halftime show. The game may also start a few minutes late due to the festivities.
You can expect the game to finish after 10:00 p.m. ET.
The Super Bowl ends the NFL season, and we say goodbye to the sport until August. This is your last opportunity to wager on an NFL game. For some, this may be the only time you wager all year. Either way, it’s essential to go into this with as much knowledge and insight as possible, and we hope this page did that for you.
From here, we hope you’ve learned about the potential and available bonuses/promotions, information about the game, bet types, and our top sites.
Remember, our list of the top sites is somewhat general, and there may be sites you prefer over ours, and that’s OK.
As the Super Bowl approaches, refer back to this page to ensure you’re making good and confident wagers.
