The best betting sites in Missouri are offering odds on the NFL, MLB, NBA, college sports, golf, tennis, MMA, and much more. These sports betting operators are delivering tax revenue to Missouri that can be used to fund important programs for the Show Me State.
In most instances, you will not need a special code to get an offer from these Missouri sportsbooks. Check out the list of MO sportsbooks below.
If you’re a Daily Fantasy Sports player (we’re looking at you, Chiefs fanatics), you may be familiar with Underdog. We’re not talking about the cartoon character from the 1960s.
The company will now provide odds on sports as well. According to the Underdog website and app, if you have a DFS account with them, you can use that same account to place bets on sports starting December 1, 2025.
Anyone who has been to a casino or even set foot in Las Vegas is likely familiar with the Caesars brand. The company has resorts and casinos across the map.
The best thing about my Caesars sports betting experience has always been the loyalty program. Caesars Rewards is the de facto standard for customer loyalty programs.
Be sure to opt-in when you download this sportsbook. You’ll earn points with every dollar you wager, win or lose.
Do you think Fanatics is just a bunch of people with callous fingers working on sewing machines?
Nope, Fanatics does more than manufacture the official jerseys for most sports.
Fanatics Sportsbook is secure and simple to use. It consistently receives excellent marks for its competitive odds.
In Illinois, according to the Apple Store, Fanatics has the highest aggregate rating of any sports betting application.
What happens when two companies fight for market share? The consumer wins because they compete to win you over. That’s what we expect in Missouri.
FanDuel Sportsbook challenges DraftKings for the No. 1 spot in sports betting total handle and revenue in nearly every state where it’s legal.
My favorite thing about FanDuel is the live betting button that allows me to see all live betting odds up to the second.
Up to the minute is so 2005. To find the best opportunities, you need something even more current.
One of the two market leaders nationwide, DraftKings is a powerhouse in sports betting. You’ll find hundreds and possibly thousands of odds markets, from Archery to Canadian Football to Ultimate Disc League to Premier Soccer to the NBA, NFL, and oodles more.
DraftKings is a great choice for the new sports bettor because it keeps it simple, and has established itself in more than 30 markets nationwide.
Following its quickie divorce from PENN Entertainment that resulted in the demise of ESPN BET, ESPN named DraftKings as its preferred betting partner.
That doesn’t mean your DraftKings account from another state will work in Missouri, so check that before registering to place wagers here.
Is it good to be underrated? Depends on who you ask. It’s worked pretty well for Stan Musial. But for others, it doesn’t seem to take like it did for Stan The Man.
For many years in other states with legal sportsbooks, Bet365 has been unfairly overlooked.
With Bet365, you can bet live and also track your favorite teams and players in the app.
You can even watch live action for many leagues within the mobile betting app. That means you can see the Broncos fumble it against the Chiefs on your phone while you’re in line at the grocery store.
As of mid-November, Hard Rock Bet was not expected to launch on day one of sports betting in Missouri.
This app has been a disruptor in many states, serving as an alternative to the big name operators. I’ll keep you updated once I know more about Hard Rock Bet and when we can expect it to appear in Missouri.
The State of Missouri allows both in-person sports betting and online Missouri sportsbooks. At launch on Dec. 1, 2025, there are expected to be as many as half a dozen legal sports betting operators. Consumers can also visit retail sportsbooks at specified locations.
Missouri was one of the largest states that did not have legal sports betting before December of 2025
The two most populous states (California and Texas) have yet to legalize the activity, and among the top 20 states by population as of the 2020 U.S. Census, only those two and Missouri did not have some form of legalized sports betting in place prior to Dec. 1 , 2025.
In Missouri, you’ll need to be 21 to create an account with an online sportsbook. Once you do, you can connect a funding source, such as a debit or credit card, or a bank account.
Your favorite sportsbooks in Missouri will offer odds on hundreds of markets, from professional to college, and international sporting events.
Bet on how many passing yards Patrick Mahomes will have. Or how many hits Bobby Witt Jr. will have in a game, and so on. Bettors may also place parlay wagers.

The sports betting catalog for Missouri is expansive. Practically any sport you like will have odds, but I’ve listed the most popular sports and leagues below.
Remember how it felt watching Barry Sanders run the football? It seemed as if Barry was on a different level. That’s how it is for the National Football League compared to other sports.
The NFL is the bride and everything else is the ugly bridesmaid in comparison as far as popularity in the United States.
Regular season NFL games are often among the most popular betting action in sports. It’s anticipated that Missourians will clamor to place legal bets on the Chiefs. The team has played in multiple Super Bowls in recent years, winning three times in the Patrick Mahomes/Andy Reid Era.
Bet on the NFL moneyline, point spreads, game and player props. You can also wager on team futures, awards, and more.
Bet on the outcome of the game, select odds on game props, etc. But there is one restriction for college betting in Missouri:
That means you cannot wager on TD catches by a Missouri Tigers football player. Nor can you place a bet on how many rushing yards a Missouri State running back may accumulate, etc.
You can wager on player props for athletes who do not play for Missouri-based schools. Wager all you want on how many TD passes the University of Michigan QB makes. Wager to your heart’s content on receiving yards by a Colorado wide receiver, and so on.
Yes, you can bet on professional baseball in Missouri. Place bets on the Cardinals, Royals, and any other team. You will also be able to find odds on the increasingly popular World Baseball Classic, which will return in the spring of 2026.
Bet on player props such as:
The NBA offers many opportunities for odds in the 82-game season, the in-season tournament, and the NBA Playoffs.
The NHL also offers an 82-game regular season. For many fans, the Stanley Cup Playoffs are the gem: a 16-team tournament that often produces upsets and epic seven-game battles.
Player props, game props, team futures, all are permitted in Missouri from sports betting apps.
Mizzou basketball and other college hoops are followed closely in the state. Yes, you will be able to wager on that sport, including March Madness and conference tournaments.
You cannot place player prop bets on athletes who play for Missouri-based schools.
The Winter Olympics will be held in 2026. Yes, Missouri sports fans will find odds on that event. Expect odds on ice hockey, speed skating, skiing, and much more.
Yes, you can wager on which country will win the most medals. Here’s a hint: look at the nation that rhymes with Schnorway … yes, Norway has won the most total medals in winter olympic competition the last four times the world came together for the international competition.
Choosing the best sportsbook for Missouri depends on several factors, which will be of varying importance depending on your needs:
Always practice responsible gaming. Never chase losses, and never wager more than you can afford. Always wager for entertainment only.
Rightfully, consumers worry about the safety of their personal information when participating in any online transaction. Fortunately, the groundwork has been done for Missouri in regards to establishing a safe and secure sports betting market.
The answer is simple: regulation. When you register with a legal platform, you're transacting within a tightly controlled ecosystem designed to protect your personal information and your money. We all want our money protected.
State-level regulatory agencies, such as the Missouri Gaming Commission (MGC), which oversees legal wagering like the Missouri Sportsbook operators, ensure this through strict licensing requirements.
One key mechanism is the mandate for partnerships. In Missouri, like many states, online operators aren't just standalone tech companies; they must (in most cases) partner with a licensed, brick-and-mortar gaming entity, often a casino. This is a tethered standard.
A tethered license policy ensures a reputable, established financial and gaming entity is directly accountable for the online operations. It’s an extra layer of oversight that ties the digital world back to a tangible, licensed business.
What about those shadowy offshore sites? Regulatory bodies actively work to establish significant penalties for these unlicensed, illegal gaming companies.
The goal with regulatory oversight is to constrict the ability of offshore sites to operate, process payments, and advertise within state lines, making the legal market the only viable, trustworthy option.
It’s a constant battle, but the legal framework for sports betting in Missouri and elsewhere is the best defense, giving you recourse and security that the black market simply cannot match.
When Missouri voters passed Amendment 2 in 2024, it not only legalized sports betting in the Show Me State, it also created the Compulsive Gambling Prevention Fund.
Consumers in Missouri who wish to place bets on sports will find many resources to assist them if they find they experience a problem with their gambling habits.
By law, every sportsbook operator in MO must provide self-exclusion. Which means you can exclude yourself from being allowed to place bets on sports for a set period of time (a cool-off period) or permanently.

As of December 2025, bettors in Missouri can look forward to a list of excellent Missouri sportsbooks.
Some of the best betting sites in Missouri include Underdog, Fanatics, FanDuel and DraftKings. There are a couple of brands like Hard Rock Bet that is not expected to be live in December, but might make an entrance later.
I’ll be refreshing this guide with all the latest updates on sports betting in Missouri, so stay tuned.
You must be 21 years of age to register and wager with a MO sportsbook, either online or in person.
The sports betting tax rate on gross gaming revenue is set at 10%, which is somewhat low compared to the national average of 14-15 percent. But, tax dollars collected from Missouri sportsbooks will be welcome revenue for the state.
Tax revenue generated from sports betting is primarily earmarked for education funding and the state's Compulsive Gambling Prevention Fund.
Sports betting apps are allowed to offer incentives or promos for new users in Missouri. Consult those betting sites for their offers. Be advised that there is no such thing as a “free bet.” Online sportsbooks often dangle betting credits that can be used for your initial wagers, but you must place those credits at risk a certain number of times, typically, before you can withdraw any winnings.
Promotional offers from Missouri sportsbooks is a good way to introduce yourself to the activity, in a risk-averse fashion. Also” you are permitted to register and bet with multiple sports betting apps.
A parlay wager is when you place a bet on multiple events happening in the same game or across multiple events. For example: wager that the Chiefs will win; Travis Kelce will catch a touchdown pass; and Patrick Mahomes will rush for 40+ yards. To win a parlay, all of the bets within that parlay must be successful.
Why bet on a parlay? Because the odds are increased for a bigger potential payoff. However, parlays favor the sportsbook. That’s because it’s difficult to win multiple bets (or “legs”) in a multi-bet such as it is. However, if you stay within your budget, a parlay bet can be a fun way to enhance your enjoyment of a game. A parlay wager as low as $10 can possibly pay out several hundred dollars, depending on the odds. Some 4-or-5 leg parlays carry odds of +2000 or higher.
To place an online bet, a user must be physically located within the state borders of Missouri. You do not need to be a resident, but your location is verified by geolocation technology, which is required by the MGC.
Sports betting was legalized in Missouri when voters approved Amendment 2 in a statewide referendum in November 2024. This successfully amended the state's constitution, clearing the way for legal online sports betting sites.
