A new world of sports betting opportunities in the Empire State
It’s all change in the state of New York as the lawmakers have opted to permit mobile sports betting operators for the very first time. There were nine licenses up for grabs, with four sportsbook sites given the go-ahead to open up their virtual doors early in January 2022. BetRivers, FanDuel, DraftKings and Caesars were the first four mobile sports betting sites to welcome members from the Empire State, swiftly followed by BetMGM.
