2026 FIFA World Cup Best Bets (June 25): United States, Netherlands, Curaçao Odds & Predictions

Publish Date: Jun 25, 2026

Key Points
  • Team USA finishes group stage play against Türkiye having already clinched top spot in group.
  • Curaçao and Ivory Coast must find success either with a draw or win, to grab a spot in the round of 32.
  • Netherlands can secure No. 1 seed in Group F with a victory over Tunisia on Thursday.

Groups D, E, and F are in action today and this evening in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Several spots in the knockout stage are on the line, and for American soccer fans, it's match day for Team USA, which has already wrapped up a spot in the Round of 32.

Group F has the most murky picture, where the Netherlands has motivation to win AND add to its goal differential lead over the nations chasing it.

  • My World Cup betting record is 4-8. Despite that, I'm currently $60 up. It's time to get three wins today.

FIFA World Cup Best Bets: USA vs. Türkiye

With the top seed in Group D secured and a spot in the knockout stage guaranteed, USA men's team coach Mauricio Pochettino will rest several of his key players. That includes a quartet of players who received a yellow card in the first two matches. You can also expect team captain Tim Ream to be on the sidelines, at least when the match starts. There's no reason to play anyone who is nursing an injury of any severity.

The man to watch for the U.S. is pesky Ricardo Pepi, who will get a start and be the focus of the American attack for much of this match. Pepi has 2.93 shots per 90 minutes, one of the top figures on Team USA. He's aggressive, and will be seeking to get his name on the score sheet in this tournament.

  • Ricardo Pepi (USA)  to Score Anytime Goal (+150, FanDuel)

The U.S. will play again on July 1, in the knockout stage (Round of 32). According to the current FIFA rankings of third-place teams, it's a 99 percent possibility that Team USA will face Bosnia and Herzegovina. If it wins that match, the U.S. will compete in the Round of 16.

FIFA World Cup Best Bets: Tunisia vs. Netherlands

The Tunisians have allowed nine goals, the most goals surrendered through two games of any team in the World Cup. The 57th-ranked team in the world has a defense that allows too many shots on target, and is sloppy in maintaining possession.

Unfortunately for the Tunisians, their opponent in their final Group Stage match are the Netherlands, who need merely a win or draw to secure the No. 1 position in Group F. The offense is led by Brian Brobbey (two goals) and Tijjani Reijnders (eight crosses).

The Netherlands have a one-goal lead on Japan for first in Group F. Finishing first would give the Dutch a matchup against a third-place team in the next round. It's important to win the group, and that will keep the Oranje pushing to add goals today.

  • Over 3.5 Goals (+100, FanDuel)

I'll pay $100 for the chance to win $100 on the total goals in this mismatch. The Tunisians are playing for pride only, but that won't be enough against the Dutch front line scorers. I expect a final something like 4-0 or 3-1.

FIFA World Cup Best Bets: Curaçao vs. Ivory Coast

This match offers unique intrigue: Ivory Coast can finish second with a draw; but Curaçao needs an outright win (and likely a two-goal edge) to slip into second place (along with some help from Germany). That means Team Curaçao will push the action, while the Ivory Coast will want to smother the ball, secure possession, and keep the game scoreless or score first and coast (no pun intended) to a No. 2 finish in the group.

A contrast in strategy can lead to a wild match. Still, these teams have scored a combined three goals in this tournament. We may see a tight match with very conservative play, as each team feels it's way toward the goal of grabbing a place in the Round of 32.

If you're going to pick one match to watch on Thursday make it this one. Keep your eyes trained on 23-year old Amad Diallo of the Ivory Coast. The wing has one goal this tournament, and three shots on target. He plays a slippery style that could lead to chances against a less talented Curaçao lineup.

  • Curaçao vs. Ivory Coast, Under 3.5 Goals (-144, FanDuel)
