2026 NBA Playoffs: Spurs Favored to Win NBA Finals vs. Knicks

The matchup is set for the NBA Finals. A new champion will be crowned for an eighth consecutive season, as the defending champs were eliminated on Saturday when the Oklahoma City Thunder lost to the San Antonio Spurs.

It will be the San Antonio Spurs and New York Knicks in the 2026 NBA Finals, a matchup that was likely far down the odds list when the season began last October.

Oddsmakers believe the West is best: they have the Spurs as favorites in Game 1 and to win this series. Most sports betting apps list San Antonio at least at -200 to win the series before the first tip. BetMGM has the best odds for San Antonio at -210.
