The NBA has four games tonight, with the Bucks and Pacers squaring off in the national television game on TNT.
But while Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal are previewing that contest, we have our eyes on the Clippers vs Pelicans down in The Bayou. We love this matchup, because it gives us a chance to leverage a mismatch.

The Pelicans have the fourth-worst record in the NBA. They allow nearly 120 points per game, and have a terrible time defending mid-range and low post scoring.
The Pelicans have a -4 rebound differential, and their opponents are getting to the line six more times per game. That’s a recipe for trouble against the Clippers, who pass the ball very well, and shoot well from the charity stripe.
LAC has not one, not two, but three legitimate scoring stars: Harden; Kawhi, and Bogan Bogdanović.
Bogdanović is a bargain at MORE/LESS 9.5 Points vs New Orleans. When Bogdanović has a favorable matchup, he’s getting minutes.
On Tuesday night, BB will be in a favorable matchup against the New Orleans back court. Sure, Bogdanović has scored only 17 points in his last two games combined, but that’s because his minutes were low due to bad matchups.
This time, Tyronn Lue will have every reason to keep Bogdanović on the hardwood.
Our player Pick6 for tonight’s NBA competition:
This four-player Pick6 could be worth at least 8X your entry. If you are putting up $50 for example, and you match all four picks, you could win $400 from DraftKings.
While we generally like to split our picks among more than two games, we chose three players from the Clippers tonight.
That’s because we don’t like the Pelicans (even on their home floor) as a matchup against the firepower of the LAC offense.
Harden and Leonard are beasts from anywhere on the court, including mid-range, where the Pels have a tough time switching to assist when opponents get space.
The Beard is averaging 35.3 points in those games, all of which have been wins for the Clippers. LA is solidly in the running for one of the play-in spots in the western conference.
However, they are also only one game in the loss column behind the No. 6 seed.
With Harden lighting up the board, we love his chances to have MORE THAN the 26.5 DraftKings is projecting for his points against the shaky Pelicans on Tuesday.
On Sunday evening against the Sacramento Kings, Kawhi Leonard was abysmal from long range: shooting 1-for-7 on three point attempts.
But, the two-time NBA Finals Most Valuable Player showed his clutch tendencies when he hit a seven-foot floater to beat the Kings in overtime.
We can’t see Kawhi struggling from the field again on Tuesday against New Orleans. He’s averaged 22.5 in his career in New Orleans, and he’s due to break out on the scoring line.
If you prefer Kawhi Leonard’s Points + Rebounds + Assists pick: it’s MORE or LESS than 31.5 against the Pelicans.
Cleveland has won 14 straight games, and 18 of 19 dating back to January 27.
With 54 wins, the Cavaliers are on pace to break the franchise record for wins, which is 66, set in 2008-09. There is a chance, if the Cavs stay at their current pace, the team could win 70 games.
Only two teams have ever accomplished that. Mitchell should be a great pick for tonight’s game. More on him below.
TV schedule for tonight’s NBA games:
Tonight, we like Donovan Mitchell, the best player on the Cavs, to score lots of points: well over 23.5 against Brooklyn. Mitchell has 24 or more points in 34 games this season.
