Bills Odds to Win Next Super Bowl Change With Acquisition of DJ Moore

The Buffalo Bills are not done with offseason changes as the team has acquired wide receiver DJ Moore from the Chicago Bears for a draft pick package.

The Bills fired their head coach this offseason, replacing Sean McDermott with Joe Brady following a playoff disappointment. Brady has a history with Moore, having worked with him when they were both employed by the Carolina Panthers.

Moore caught 50 passes last season for the Bears, including six touchdowns. He has been remarkably healthy in his career, but hasn't had as much as 1,000 receiving yards since the 2023 season when he set a career mark with 96 catches. The eight-year veteran will turn 29 in mid-April.

The changes in Buffalo will definitely impact NFL Betting Odds.

The Bills are attempting to assemble so-called skill players around quarterback Josh Allen while he is in his prime. Last season the team was fourth in the NFL in scoring, but did not have what experts would consider a "No. 1" receiver. The inconsistent Khalil Shakir led the Bills with 719 receiving yards.

Bills Super Bowl Odds Following DJ Moore Trade

DraftKings lists the Bills as +1000 to win the next Super Bowl. That trails only two teams: the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks in odds.

As long as Allen is healthy and in a Buffalo uniform, the Bills have a legitimate chance to (finally) win the Lombardi Trophy. If they do, Moore might have his part in it. New OC will have big impact on Bills future

So far this offseason, there's been a lot of hype around the Bills. New coach, new stadium, and new offensive coordinator, Pete Carmichael Jr.

Of all the "newness" in Buffalo, it may be Carmichael, the OC under Brady, who will be most important to team success. The Bills have shown they can score points in the regular season. The Bills have proven that they can win oodles of games in the regular season (12 wins per year the last six seasons). But, the Bills have not proven they can win without Allen being Superman in the playoffs.

Can the Bills win a conference title with Allen performing like Superman, Spiderman, and Ironman? Maybe. But, how has that worked for the Ravens and Lamar Jackson? Hero ball rarely if ever works in the National Football League.

But with Moore, Brady, and Carmichael, Buffalo is flipping the page to a new era. For the sake of Bills Mafia, a Super Bowl is the only result that can be considered a success.
