Clemson (23-11) has defied the odds in back-to-back tournament games as the betting underdog. They came in as a 4.5-point underdog to the Baylor Bears who was knocked out before making the Sweet 16 yet again.

It's been their star guard Chase Hunter who's been coming on strong since the start of the tournament. During the tournament, he is averaging 20.5 points and 6 assists in their two wins. He has taken over the offense ever since the start of the tournament and has been the leader of this team.

However, the Tigers still have been playing great basketball collectively as a team with four players scoring double digits in their victory against Baylor while scoring over 70 points in both outings.

Also, the Tigers have been stifling on defense limiting both New Mexico and Baylor with neither team hitting more than 39% from the floor and 25% from 3-point range.
