Heat Odds to Win 2027 NBA Finals Shift Following Trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo

The Miami Heat acquired former NBA Most Valuable Player Giannis Antetokounmpo late Monday, shaking up the league only hours before the NBA Draft. It's also changed the odds for the Heat to win the NBA Finals in 2027.

According to bet365 Sportsbook, Miami is now at +1800 to win the next NBA Finals. On Monday, that betting app had the Heat listed at +3850. Similarly, DraftKings and FanDuel have lowered odds on Miami, from +4000 (FanDuel) to +2000.

Which means bettors who got their wagers in before the trade have a chance to win twice as much if the Heat win the NBA Finals.

Milwaukee sent Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis to Miami, and in return received Tyler Herro, Kel'el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kasparas Jakucionis, and three first-round picks. That includes Miami's No. 13 pick in the draft that will take place on Tuesday. Milwaukee also gets two other picks in future years: a pick swap in 2030, and Miami's second-round pick in 2033.
