MLB Dinger Tuesday Bets: Home Run Odds & Predictions for June 30

Publish Date: Jun 30, 2026
Fact checked by: Matt Moreno
Key Points
  • Mookie Betts enters Tuesday red-hot with three home runs in his last four games and draws a premium matchup against struggling lefty Jeffrey Springs, who owns a 6.43 ERA at home and has allowed 10 home runs in June.
  • Fading Erick Fedde is a major angle Tuesday, as both Pete Alonso and Gunnar Henderson get favorable power spots against a pitcher carrying a 5.85 road ERA.

We’ve got a full Tuesday card in Major League Baseball, which means there are plenty of spots to hunt for home run value across the board.

Betting home run props is never easy, and anyone who does it regularly knows just how volatile the process can be. There are countless metrics to sort through- everything from ballpark factors and weather conditions to pitcher splits, hard-hit rates, barrel percentages and recent form.

But after digging through all those numbers, the key is figuring out which stats are most likely to actually move the needle. Sometimes that means simply trusting recent power surges. Other times, it means fading a pitcher in a bad environment.

MLB Dinger Tuesday Picks: Home Run Bets for June 30

  • My Pick: Mookie Betts HR (+400 via FanDuel)

Despite a modest season at the plate overall, Mookie Betts (.235 AVG, 11 HRs) is starting to get hot, launching three home runs in his last four games.

Those long balls were well earned in pitcher-friendly Petco Park against a Padres team with one of the best pitching staffs in baseball, which makes the recent surge even more impressive. Now, Betts gets what looks like a dream matchup against struggling left-hander Jeffrey Springs (5.52 ERA, 1.33 WHIP) in one of the better home run environments in West Sacramento on Tuesday’s slate.

Springs has not had a strong season statistically, and his recent form and especially at home makes this bet even more intriguing.

The veteran lefty owns a 5.52 ERA overall and an even worse 6.43 ERA at home. That should not come as much of a surprise, as Sutter Health Park has quickly developed a reputation as a difficult place for pitchers to keep the ball in the yard.

Springs’ June numbers are especially alarming. Across 21.2 innings this month, he has posted a brutal 9.97 ERA while allowing 10 home runs.

That combination of poor recent form, home struggles and Betts’ improving power profile makes this a very attractive spot. At anything north of +400, I think we’re getting excellent value on one of the best hitters in baseball.

MLB Home Run Bets: Back These Orioles Power Hitters against Erick Fedde

  • My Pick: Pete Alonso HR (+300 via FanDuel), Gunnar Henderson HR (+346 via DraftKings)

Pete Alonso (.248 AVG, 19 HRs) stands out as one of my favorite power targets Tuesday, especially given both the matchup history and weather conditions.

Alonso has clearly seen Erick Fedde (4.34 ERA, 1.42 WHIP) well throughout his career, going 8-for-24 against him with two doubles and six walks. That kind of history matters, especially when it comes against a pitcher with Fedde’s profile.

Tuesday’s weather should also help right-handed power quite a bit at Camden Yards, with temperatures expected in the upper 80s and 12 mph winds blowing out toward left field.

Fedde has actually pitched fairly well in June, allowing just one home run this month, but context matters here.

Most of those outings came at home, where he has consistently looked more comfortable. On the road, however, Fedde has struggled badly throughout his career and especially this season.

He enters Tuesday with a rough 5.85 ERA away from home compared to a much stronger 3.19 ERA when pitching on the South Side of Chicago.

Alonso also enters this game with momentum after homering Monday night, and I expect that power stroke to carry over into Tuesday.

Gunnar Henderson HR Pick

If you like fading Fedde, it makes plenty of sense to look at another power bat in this matchup with Gunnar Henderson (.224 AVG, 16 HRs).

Henderson has already had success against Fedde in limited opportunities, going 2-for-6 with a home run while also drawing two walks.

That small sample still tells us something encouraging: Henderson appears comfortable against Fedde’s arsenal and has already shown he can elevate and punish mistakes.

The matchup itself is also strong for Henderson’s profile. Fedde has historically been more vulnerable when his command slips, and left-handed hitters have found success against him when he falls behind in counts.

With warm weather, favorable wind conditions and multiple paths to hard contact, Henderson offers plenty of upside as another Orioles bat worth targeting.

If Fedde’s road struggles continue, Baltimore could very easily produce multiple home run candidates in this spot.

More MLB Home Run Bets for June 30

  • My Pick: T.J. Rumfield HR (+500 via FanDuel)

T.J. Rumfield (.294 AVG, 12 HRs) isn't a household name but he's starting to break out in a big way.

The 26-year-old lefty is having an incredible month of June, batting .318 with a .998 OPS and has recorded a hit in every game he’s played except one since June 9. Even more impressive, he has been especially locked in over the past week, posting five consecutive multi-hit games.

That kind of sustained contact profile is hard to ignore, especially when paired with Tuesday’s matchup.

Eury Perez is slated to start for Miami. Statistically, Perez is having a fairly average season overall with a 4.41 ERA and 1.22 WHIP.

However, once you dig deeper, the road splits become impossible to ignore. Perez owns a 6.04 ERA away from home, showing significantly more vulnerability when pitching outside Miami.

That makes plenty of sense for many Marlins pitchers. Miami’s sea-level environment naturally helps suppress fly balls and home runs, often masking some underlying power issues.

Tuesday presents the complete opposite scenario.

Instead of pitching in Miami, Perez now heads into the altitude of Coors Field, arguably the most dangerous environment in baseball for pitchers.

As if that weren’t enough, weather conditions should further boost offense, with 11 mph winds projected to blow out toward right field. That setup heavily favors a left-handed hitter like Rumfield, who already enters this game swinging one of the hottest bats on the slate.

With elite recent form, strong contact numbers and a premium hitting environment, Rumfield offers some of the best home run value on Tuesday’s board.
