The NBA is, and always will be, about teams. But in the modern era, it has become common for fans to get attached to players more than to teams. As often as some players switch teams, that’s understandable. It may also make betting on NBA player props more appealing than game outcomes.

With that in mind, I’ve taken a hard look at the late games on today’s schedule and found the following to be the best NBA player props and picks for tonight.

Edwards is averaging 29.5 points per game this season. Having gone OVER this mark three times since the NBA All-Star break (five games), Edwards has cleared it in both games he played vs. Memphis early in the season. With the long list of guys out with injuries for the Grizzlies tonight, he should be able to slice and dice his way to 30+ points against this Memphis defense. You can find this bet on Bet365.
Gobert has gone OVER this mark in three of his last five games, but not because he’s having issues on the boards. He has pulled down an average of 15+ boards over the last three games, but hasn’t scored much (ten, three, and seven points). Playing against a banged-up team like Memphis should lead to plenty of rebounds and put-back opportunities for the big man.
I’m banking on Anthony Edwards going off against the Grizzlies and Rudy Gobert having a grand old time in the paint, grabbing boards and putting back easy shots. Randle has not been a big scoring threat lately anyway, with UNDER 18.5 in four of his last five games. He’ll be content letting Edwards and Gobert go off.
King James is averaging seven dimes a game this season, but has gone OVER 5.5 just twice since returning from the break (out of six games). However, the Lakers are playing a poor Pelicans defense that has been allowing 29 assists per game (No. 27 in the NBA). The opportunities will undoubtedly be there for him; he had eight the last time he faced New Orleans.
He has only been off the injured list for three games, but for a fan base looking for something to cheer about, well, they have just that in Murray. He chipped in 13 in his first game back and put up 17 in the other two. With their offensive power, the Lakers are not too concerned about defense.
Take advantage of this low number for a good player while you can. This betting line can be found within FanDuel.
I know. I know. It’s frowned upon by some fans that I expect so little from a scoring machine like Luka Dončić. But the bottom line is simple—he has gone UNDER this total in four of six games since the break. It’s a high number, and once the game is in play, he’ll take his foot off the gas if he doesn’t get pulled.
Against this Pelicans team, it will not take long for the game to be in hand. Find this line within DraftKings.
