The Oklahoma City Thunder looks to rebound from a heartbreaking defeat while the Los Angeles Clippers hope to sustain its winning momentums as they collide this Monday at the Paycom Center.
Oklahoma heads into this matchup with a chip on its shoulder following a gut-wrenching loss to Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors while Los Angeles notched its fourth consecutive victory on Saturday with a 105-103 triumph over the Toronto Raptors.
Will the Clippers avenge its defeat to this same Thunder team earlier this season or will the latter score its second consecutive victory over the former?

After starting the season winning their first seven games, the Oklahoma City Thunder have found themselves in an unfamiliar position, winning just once in their past three.
Against the Golden State Warriors on Sunday, the Thunder were bleeding for offense early, especially when star center Chet Holmgren went down in the first quarter with an apparent leg injury.
Oklahoma, though, showed some fighting resolve late as they outscored the Warriors 37-20 but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to secure the win.
Fortunately, they will square up against the Los Angeles Clippers next – a team they have beaten by double digits earlier this season.
However, the Thunder needs to be better on the rebounding department against the Clippers to increase their chances of covering here.
It can be recalled that Oklahoma were out-rebounded by the Warriors on Sunday 46-41, giving the latter 13 second chance opportunities.
This simply won’t do against the Clippers here, especially with guards Norman Powell and James Harden seemingly back their deadly offensive forms.
Should the Thunder address their rebounding woes and continue shooting the lights out from the field, backing them to cover the spread at these current odds should be a good play for punters looking for a betting angle on the favorite.
The Los Angeles Clippers have completely reinvented themselves, scoring four straight victories after starting the season just winning two of the first six games.
A significant reason for that has been the offensive explosion of versatile guard Norman Powell, who is currently leading the team in scoring at 25.5 points per game.
This pales in comparison to Harden’s offensive production when these last two teams faced. It can be recalled that the 35-year old Harden was only limited to 12 points on a dismal 22.2% shooting from the three-point area against the Thunder earlier this month.
With Harden seemingly finding his shooting touch and Powell showing no signs of slowing down, there could be a massive value towards backing the Clippers to cover the +9.5 spread here.
One thing that the Clippers have to do to increase their chances of covering the spread is to limit their turnovers. In their previous meeting, the Clippers turned the ball over 20 times, which simply won’t cut it against a well-oiled Thunder offense.
Even with the absence of All-Star forward Kawhi Leonard, the Los Angeles Clippers have seemingly shown their fighting resolve in the past few games and their stellar play should carry over against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Although the Thunder is a great team, the odds are just too juicy for me not to sprinkle some action on the Clippers. Considering the recent ATS history of both teams, give me the Clippers and the free buckets.
