Former two-time league Most Valuable Player (MVP) Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors aim to sustain its winning momentum as they host the red-hot Cleveland Cavaliers this Monday at the Chase Center.
“Golden State enters this matchup fresh off a 109-105 victory against Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns while Cleveland scored its sixth consecutive victory after dominating Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets on the road 149-135.”
Will the Warriors tie the season series and avenge its loss to this same Cavaliers earlier this year or will Cleveland walk away with another dominant victory?
That remains to be seen but as of press time, here’s how the current Golden State Warriors vs Cleveland Cavaliers betting lines look as we head into this marquee matchup.

Struggling and seemingly unable to get over the hump, the Golden State Warriors snapped its three-game losing skid in style by beating the Phoenix Suns 109-105 thanks to a 34-point explosion from versatile forward Jonathan Kuminga.
Kuminga’s offensive explosion couldn’t come at a perfect time as the Warriors host the league leaders Cleveland Cavaliers next – a team that dominated them in more ways than one earlier this year.
Like in the past two games, Kuminga also led the Warriors in scoring when it last faced the Cavaliers earlier this season with 21 points on 50% shooting from the field.
So, one might wonder what went wrong for the Warriors versus the Cavaliers in their first meeting earlier this year. Well, you can chalk it up to lack of offensive help.
While Kuminga was remarkable, other players, particularly Stephen Curry was beyond horrible with the former two-time league MVP held to just 12 points.
Considering the Warriors ATS record as an underdog and their depth on the offensive end of the floor, backing Golden State to cover at home versus Cleveland is something worth punt at -110.
Winners of 10 of their last 11, the Cleveland Cavaliers began its four-game road trip on a strong note as they weathered a loud Denver crowd to beat the Nuggets 149-135.
Eight-year veteran Donovan Mitchell spearheaded the Cavaliers offensive attack with 33 points, six assists, and five rebounds while shooting six out of 12 from downtown.
Not to be outdone was forward Evan Mobley who delivered an all-around performance of 26 points, six assists, and five rebounds for the Cavaliers who also got 25 points from Darius Garland and a 22-point, 10-rebound double-double from Jarrett Allen.
Cleveland guns for its seventh straight win as they take on a familiar foe in the Golden State Warriors whom they’ve beaten by double-digits earlier this season.
For the Cavaliers to cover the spread here though, they might need to avoid giving plenty of second chance opportunities to the Warriors.
In their first meeting this season, Cleveland gave away 11 second chance opportunities to the Warriors but fortunately the latter wasn’t able to capitalize on those.
Should the Cavaliers get similar offensive contributions particularly from their starters and limit the second chance looks of the Warriors, the -110 odds for them to cover the spread might be way too generous, with how they have been playing lately.
On any given night, the Golden State Warriors can still show glimpses of the team they used to be and they could do so here. However, I just can’t go against the streaking Cleveland Cavaliers team right now.
With the Cavaliers getting offensive contributions from plenty of sources and the Warriors struggling to score occasionally, I am confident in Cleveland to cover the spread and walk away with its seventh consecutive win.
