It's Tuesday, and five exciting Emirates NBA Cup matchups are on the slate today. With two primetime matchups, the Miami Heat (7-7, 3-3 home) will host the Milwaukee Bucks (8-9, 1-6 away) at home. 2-0 in the Cup standings, can the 1-1 Heat catch the Bucks?
For the late-night matchup, bettors will have a showdown between the LA Lakers (10-6, 3-4 away) and the Phoenix Suns (9-7, 5-3 home). With the return of Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal, can the Suns catch the Lakers in West: Group B?
In this article, I've cooked up my three best-player prop bets for the NBA Cup matchups today. Looking to stay profitable, I have an NBA betting record of 43-22 in November. Up over five units, my goal remains the same. Slowly building my bankroll management, I am up over 16 units in back-to-back months.
Let's take a look at the current FanDuel slate and odds for the November 26 Cup games. If you're tailing my player props today, I've placed them as straight bets within FanDuel and DraftKings Sportsbook.

Zach LaVine 2024-2025 Season Stats
G: 15 | PPG: 22.7 | FG: 52.1 % | FT: 81.8 % | 3PT : 44 % | REB: 4.9 | AST: 3.9 | STL: 0.9 | BLK: 0.4
My first player prop best bet of today, I placed one unit on Bulls star Zach LaVine to record over 27.5 points and assists vs the Wizards. Subject of numerous trade rumors this season, LaVine continues to be a bright spot for the Bulls, despite their 7-11 start. Leading the team with 22.7 points per game, can LaVine head towards a 50/40/ 90 season?
Given the Bulls play a smaller four guard lineup, there isn't much depth behind LaVine. Shooting his best field goal (52.1 %) and three-point percentages (44 %) of his career, there's no doubt I'm taking LaVine tonight.
Off to a strong start to the season, LaVine's been stellar, averaging 26.8 points over the last four games. With the departure of DeMar DeRozan and the absence of Lonzo Ball and Alex Caruso, I expect LaVine to have increasing production. That is, if he can continue to stay healthy following a right adductor strain.
Scoring 25+ points in four straight vs the Grizzlies, Hawks, Bucks, and Pistons, it's safe to say LaVines shot volume isn't dropping anytime soon.
The Bulls are surprisingly fairly decent on the offensive end, ranking no. 7 in points per game (117.4). Now Chicago and LaVine get the Wizards, who've been down right awful defensively. Failing to form a true identity, the Wizards allow the second most points to opponents (122.9), and 13th most points to guards.
Overall, I love this player prop for the points alone. Increasing his facilitating by quite a bit, LaVine has a average of 4.7 assists over the last seven games. Similar to points, Washington doesn't exactly shut down passing lanes.
If you're betting NBA cup game player props, LaVine and company are fresh off two days rest. The last time this occurred LaVine dropped 30 points and assists vs Washington back in 2022.
Soaring over this line in four straight games, I expect the trajectory to continue tonight. After all, there's good news on the horizon for bettors. LaVine has historically cooked up the Wizards time after time. Averaging well over 30 points and assists in the last head-to-head matchups, expect this line to soar over. Especially since the Bulls are fighting for their lives in the Cup standings.
My best player prop of today, this is a Bulls team that's allowed:
Several guards to soar well over this player prop line. Riding a miserable 11 game win streak, it's only getting uglier for the Wizards. As we saw last matchup, Tyrese Haliburton flirted with nearly a double-double in points and assists vs Washington.
Given it's an NBA cup matchup, I'm expecting the Bulls starters will receive heavy minutes, since point differential does count. Truly in the basement as far as defensive rating, LaVine is a matchup nightmare for Washington tonight.
Lauri Markkanen 2024-2025 Season Stats
G: 13 | PPG: 19.9 | FG: 47.6 % | FT: 86.5% | 3PT : 44.6 % | REB: 6.5 | AST: 4.0 | STL: 0.6 | BLK: 0.2
My second best player prop bet for today, I placed one unit on Jazz star Lauri Markkanen to record over 23.5 points vs the Spurs at home.
Trailing 0-2 in the West: Group B NBA Cup standings, the Jazz are truly one of the worst teams at 4-12 this season. Also the subject of trade rumors, Markkanen continue to lead Utah with 19.9 points per game. Sure, the big man's points may have dipped from last season.
However, Markkanen is shooting the lights out from downtown, averaging a career-best 44.6 % from the three-point line. While there's been a few rough stretches for Markakken, he's once again re-establishing himself as one of the top producing and consistent scorers for the Jazz. Putting up 28.5 points over the last four games, this prop line is set too low.
If you're tailing my NBA player props for today, +102 odds is hard to pass. Especially since bettors have witnesses a drastic increase in the forward's production. Averaging 20.8 points in November, the former Wildcat is heating up!
Coming off a November high 34 points vs the Knicks, Markkenen was unstoppable. Finishing 11-5 (73.3 %), and 5-8 (62.5 %) from downtown, we saw every highlight imaginable.
Ranking top 30 in free-throw attempts per game (5.7), he faces a Spurs team that will challenge him against that. However, San Antonio has run into some trouble facing centers as of late.
Since the beginning of the month, only Domantas Sabonis (23) and Anthony Davis recorded 23+ points.
Overall, I do believe Markkanen will continue his hot streak as trade rumors heat up. While the Spurs do rank no. 9 in defensive rating, we have to look at the historical domination. Soaring over this player prop in the last 7/9 head-to-head matchups vs San Antonio, Markkanen is averaging 23.5 points in two games vs the Spurs this year.
Their third meeting in November, Markkanen finished with a game high 27 points in their 126-118 loss on November 21. Leading the way in scoring, the big man shot 8-17 from the field, 3-10 from deep, and made 8-8 of his free-throws.
Jordan Poole 2024-2025 Season Stats
G: 14 | PPG: 21.2 | FG: 45.9 % | FT: 88.9 % | 3PT : 44.3 % | REB: 2.3 | AST: 4.9 | STL: 1.9 | BLK: 0.5
My third best player prop bet of today, I placed one unit on Wizards star Jordan Poole to record over 20.5 points vs the Bulls. I've been burned in the past with Poole, however I'm willing to give it another go today. If able to suit up, Poole has a decent matchup with Chicago. It's important to note, Jordan Poole is questionable with a hip injury.
Coming off a 23 point performance, we've seen some of the best production out of Poole.
Although the Wizards have a unique, yet random list of players, Poole continues to lead the Wizards in scoring. Another early candidate for a 50/40/ 90 season, Poole has rocketed over this line in four of the last five games. Aside from being demolished by the Knicks, Poole's been hoopin' to say the least!
With back-to-back 22 point performances vs the Pistons and Hawks, we saw Victor Wembanyama spoil Poole's 42 points with a 50 point bomb. Aside from a few games, Poole has been fairly consistent, and I truly don't know how this prop isn't higher.
Dating back to November 2, the guard is averaging 20.7 over the last ten games, and 23.5 over the last five. On a heater, he's in danger of missing a second straight game. However, if he plays, the Bulls are equally one of the worst defensive teams in the NBA. 28th in defensive rating (112), this is a Chicago team that lost a few steps defensively along the way.
This is truly an excellent matchup for Poole, who would ball against a Bulls team that allows the most points to guards.
While Poole has the shot volume and percentage to easily tally 21 points, we've seen similar players make their mark vs the Bulls. That includes Scotty Pippen Jr, who recently torched Chicago for a career high 30 points. In addition, Trae Young (25), Cade Cunningham (26), Fred VanVleet (28), Donovan Mitchell (37) among several other guards have lit up the Bulls.
It's clear as day Chicago has a tough task of guarding the top guards on each team. While the Chicago back court has changed some, Poole last recorded 23 points vs Chicago last March. If unable to suit up, take Malcom Brogdon OVER 13.5 points.
