NBA Finals Prediction Game 4: Boston Celtics vs. Dallas Mavericks Sports Betting Picks and Odds for June 14

The Boston Celtics have a commanding 3-0 lead in the NBA Finals and are looking to complete the sweep as they come into Game 4 in Dallas. They got out to a sluggish start in Game 3 but in Celtics fashion, they came back and dominated down the stretch pulling away and coming away with the 106-99.

The Dallas Mavericks have a lot of work to do to avoid being another statistic in NBA history by getting swept in the NBA Finals. They looked like they were on their way to getting one back at home but they fell apart down the stretch as Luka Doncic fouled out.

It will be up to the Mavericks to do the unthinkable and make a remarkable comeback when they play host to the Boston Celtics in do-or-die Game 4.

Boston Celtics (79-20) are on the verge of winning their 13th NBA Championship as they are dominating the series with a 3-0 lead and are looking to put the nail in the coffin in Game 4.

The Celtics have displayed great team basketball throughout the regular season and the playoffs showing their depth beyond their superstars Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. This has been the difference maker in this series. The Mavericks don't have enough depth outside of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving to combat with the Celtics.

The Celtics have also been lights out from 3-point range in this series as they drilled 17 from long range in their Game 3 victory which really puts the pressure on the Mavericks to defend the perimeter.

By having to defend the perimeter allows for Tatum and Brown to then drive into the lane for the ways layup and dunk.

The way that the Celtics are seemingly able to beat the Mavericks everywhere in this matchup makes it tough for the Mavericks to overcome adversity and make a miraculous comeback.

Dallas Mavericks

Dallas Mavericks (62-40) have been downright dreadful this NBA Finals after a dominant performance against the Minnesota Timberwolves en route to their Finals appearance. While Luke Doncic and Kyrie Irving have been one of the best duos in the NBA playoffs, the Celtics have played some impeccable defense holding them in check for the majority of the series.

However, these two at any given time can light up the scoreboard and put the Mavericks back into this series.

While Doncic and Irving will be doing the bulk of the work, players like,

Even though the Celtics were able to play some good basketball without Kristaps Porzingis, his presence is certainly missed on the court. This time the Mavericks will need to take it to the Celtics just like they did during the first half of Game 3 and not let up.

If Luka Doncic can get out of his own and worry about playing basketball, he and Irving have the ability to take this one at home and send it back to Boston in an attempt to do the unthinkable and win four straight in the NBA Finals.
