With 15 games scheduled tonight, two primetime matchups will be featured on ESPN. In the Eastern Conference, the Milwaukee Bucks (47-34, 26-14) will host the Detroit Pistons (44-37, 22-18) at home. Locked into their respective seeds, this matchup shouldn't mean much for either squad.
In the Western Conference, there's a high-stakes showdown between the Los Angeles Clippers (49-32, 19-21 away) and the Golden State Warriors (48-33, 24-16 home). The west is a stacked conference, and the Nuggets, Clippers, Warriors, and Timberwolves are separated by one game. Several teams will learn their fate today as playoff or Play-In Tournament teams.

If you've been rocking with me all season, welcome back in and thank you! It's the last day of the regular season, so let's finish out strong! Up over seven units betting on the NBA in April, I have a 8-1 record in my article picks over the last week!
With the Matchups beginning at 1 p.m. ET, it will be a bloodbath in the west! Let's break down my three best player prop bets and predictions for the April 13 NBA matchups!
Are you looking to bet on NBA player props all season long? Here at Ballislife Bets, we've gathered a complete list of the best sports betting offers here.
PPG: 21.5 | FG: 47.5 % | FT: 88.5 % | 3PT : 39.4 % | REB: 3.8 | AST: 6.1 | STL: 1.4 | BLK: 0.5
My first best bet for tonight, I placed one unit on Nuggets star Jamal Murray to record over 18.5 points against the Houston Rockets.
It may be the last game of the the season, but it's a crucial one for the Nuggets. Ime Udoka and the Houston Rockets impressively locked up the No.2. seed. Meanwhile. the Nuggets are tied with the Clippers for the No.4 seed.
Today could decide whether the Nuggets will place as a playoff or Play-In tournament team. This Western Conference is packed, the Denver will need their big three to step up! That includes Jamal Murray, Nikola Jokic, and Aaaron Gordon.
Anyone can take over the the Nuggets, as we saw with Aaaron Gordon for 33 points last game. The Rockets have a stingy defense, ranking no.4. in defensive rating to be exact. However, there are holes defensively, and that starts with the backcourt.
Even with Fred VanVleet and Jalen Green in the back court for the Rockets, the Rocket give up the most points in the NBA to point guards (26 PPG).
In addition, Murray is one of the best in the league in attacking downhill, averaging 7.5 points in the paint.
I love the matchup here for Murray against the Rockets in a must-win situation. We've seen this line as high at 23.5 points the last few weeks, so I'll take it. Although in a bit of a shooting rut the last two games, Murray still managed to record 15 and 17 points against the Grizzlies and Bucks.
Over the last 10 games, Murray has been blazing, averaging 24.8 points with a 38.5 3-point percentage. It's truly difficult to know if this will be a Jokic game, who's having an MVP season.
Averaging a career-high 21.5 points per game, betting on Murray has been a bit volatile at times. However, he's manage to soar over the 18.5 line in 40 games this year.
Shooting 15-28 (53.6 %) from the floor, Murray cooked the Rockets 4-6 (66.7 %) from downtown.
Pouring in 22 points vs Houston back in January, Murray has yet to face the Rockets with Jokic in the lineup. Regardless, I feel a big game from Murray tonight in what's considered a prime matchup. Averaging 30.5 points in two outings against Houston, let's ride with it.
PPG: 27.4 | FG: 44.7 % | FT: 83.6 % | 3PT : 39.5 % | REB: 5.7 | AST: 4.5 | STL: 1.1| BLK: 0.6
My second best bet for tonight, I placed one unit on Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards to record over 24.5 points against the Utah Jazz tonight.
Bettors received good news after the NBA rescinded Edwards 18th technical foul. Avoiding a suspension, Edwards will be available to play. In one of the most important games of the year, they have a prime matchup. With that said, there's a possibility of a blow out.
It's a friendly matchup for Edwards, given the Jazz are in full tank mode. Giving up the third most points to shooting guards in the NBA (23.9), Edwards will attack the basket, where he averages 8.1 paint points alone.
No matter how you slice it, the Jazz have the second worst record in the NBA with a .210 win percentage. With that, it makes me nervous if Edwards is pulled early. He scored just nine points in Friday's 117-91 victory over the Nets.
However, this is a must win game, which could move Minnesota out of a Play-In spot and into the playoffs.
It's been frustrating for bettors given Edwards has had a tumultuous season from a betting perspective. However, aside from Friday, Edwards has been red hot. Averaging 29.5 points per game in April, the 'Ant Man' has recorded 25+ points in six of the last seven games.
Aside from last matchup, Edwards has been entertaining to watch, averaging 32.2 points in that six game span. Exploding for 44 points against Memphis, Edwards has put up career-numbers in almost every facet. That includes the refining and accuracy of his 3-point shot.
Edwards ranks no.4 in usage rate in the NBA, and will be a crucial factor in tonight's game. After all, he's averaged 38.5 points in two games against the Jazz this year.
In March, Edwards managed to explode for 41 points in 31 minutes in the Timberwolves 129-102 blowout over the Jazz. Similarly, Chris Finch kept Edwards on the court in a 138-113 defeat over Utah in January. Recording 36 points, Edwards went 12-18 from the field, and 6-9 from deep.
Edwards is the Timberwolves leading scorer for the reason, and is one of the most talented players in the NBA. A three-level scoring threat, there's no one on this Jazz team that can guard Edwards, period.
PPG: 21.9 | FG: 49.3 % | FT: 81.9 % | 3PT : 40.7 % | REB: 5.9 | AST: 3.0 | STL: 1.6 | BLK: 0.5
My third best bet for tonight, I placed one unit on Clippers star Kawhi Leonard to score over 23.5 points against the Golden State Warriors.
Similar to the Timberwolves, today is a crucial matchup for both the Clippers and and Warriors. The Clippers are hanging on a thread, holding a slim one game lead over the Warriors for the No.6 seed. On the flip side, the Clippers could steal the No.4 spot from the Nuggets.
With that said, the Clippers will need their biggest stars to show out. Back and fully healthy, we know how "The Claw" performs in crunch time.
What you will see in Leonard is a consistent volume shooter who's efficient from anywhere on the court. A third straight season averaging over 40 percent from the 3-point line, I'm putting it all on Kawhi today.
I believe this player prop bet will be close, given Leonard is averaging 25.8 points and 45.2 percent from deep over the last 10 games.
Recording 25+ points in three of the last five games, Kawhi is shooting 50 percent from beyond the arc in April! Talk about efficiency and a player who's averaging 50/50/ 90 +!
In fact, Leonard has recorded 25+ points in six of the last nine games. Yet to face the Warriors this year due to injuries, Leonard last recorded 27 points vs Golden State in 2023.
The addition of Jimmy Butler should add to the Warriors defensive prowess. On the other side of the coin, the Clippers are red hot, and winners of eight straight. A crucial part of their success, Leonard 25.8 points and 47 percent from deep over the win streak. Tallying hefty minutes (40 minutes over the last two games), I expect Leonard to play full minutes tonight.
