It's Wednesday, and there are 11 games on the NBA slate! It's been a whirlwind of a week in the NBA amidst the trade deadline. Among the latest news of the Khris Middleton and Kyle Kuzma trade, there are many games to bet on today!

With two primetime matchups set to air on ESPN, the San Antonio Spurs (21-26, 7-13 away) will face off against the Atlanta Hawks (23-27, 11-11 home) on the road. With De'Aaron Fox set to make his Spurs debut, they find themselves -4.5 point favorites against Atlanta.
The OKC Thunder (39-9, 21-3 home) will host the Phoenix Suns (25-24, 10-15 away) for the late-night showdown. With trade buzz surrounding Kevin Durant, the Suns are +12 point underdogs on the road. Can Phoenix upset the Thunder, who are 7-3 in their last 10 games?
Before we head into my favorite bets for today, let's look at the schedule and odds!
With a 12-6 NBA betting record, I am up seven units this month. With that said, I'm looking to continue to sweep, and build my bank roll management. Let's analyze and break down my best NBA player prop bets for Wednesday, February 5. Included in this article are the best odds within legal sportsbooks.
Are you looking to bet on NBA player props all season long? Here at Ballislife Bets, we've gathered a complete list of the best sports betting offers here.
G: 48 | PPG: 23.8 | FG: 45.1 % | FT: 83.7 % | 3PT : 39.5 % | REB: 4.4 | AST: 4.7 | STL: 1.4| BLK: 2.0
My first player prop bet for today, I placed one unit on Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell to record over 3.5 made threes vs the Detroit Pistons for plus money.
If there's one thing to know about Mitchell, he knows how to take care of business on zero days rest. There's no doubt the Cavaliers are coming off a heartbreaking loss vs the Celtics last night. However, the Cavaliers remain the best team in the NBA, and that should give them fuel.
Speaking of last night, Donovan Mitchell attempted 25 field goal attempts, including 14 three-points against Boston last night.
Although Mitchell won't get the Celtics tonight, the Pistons play hard, and they've managed to keep up with teams this season.
The last two times Mitchell played off zero days rest, he notched 26 and 33 points vs the Lakers and Rockets.
We are talking about a new and improved team, but let's not forget the Pistons allow the 7th most three-pointers made in the NBA (13.9). Furthermore, Detroit hasn't been great around the perimeter despite the increased stardom of Cade Cunningham.
Allowing the third worst three-point percentage in the league (37.3 %), the Cavaliers are a dynamic offensive powerhouse of a team. Second in points per game (122.3), The Cavaliers make the second most trey balls in the NBA behind the Celtics with 16.2 per game.
The top three-point shooting team at 39.4 %, the Cavaliers are elite, and are a true threat to win it all this year. While equipped with talent, Mitchell has been a monumental reason for their success.
Leading the Cavaliers with 9.3 three-point attempts per game, Mitchell barely falls short (3.7 threes per game) of the player prop line today.
Shooting a career-best 39.5 % from three, Mitchells usage rate remains extremely high (31.4). What I truly love about this prop is Donovan Mitchell's consistency throughout the season scoring wise, unless it's a blowout.
Overall, Mitchell's three point attempts can be various from night to night. However, he's notched 4+ threes in three of the last four games. Nearly a 40 percent shooter from beyond the arc, Mitchell has 40 three-point attempts over the last four games.
There's no question the Pistons have lost a step defensively without Jaden Ivey in the backcourt. With that, we've seen Trae Young (4) and Tyrese Haliburton (4) light up the Pistons for 4+ threes.
G: 29 | PPG: 20.5 | FG: 44.7 % | FT: 81.5 % | 3PT : 32.1 % | REB: 4.1 | AST: 7.6 | STL: 1.3| BLK: 0.3
My second player prop bet for today, I placed one unit on Ja Morant to record over 7.5 assists against the Toronto Raptors.
Morant didn't miss a beat, pouring in 25 points and 11 dimes after a two game absence. As we've learned, the Grizzlies have figured out how to stay in the win column in the absence of Morant. With Ja in the lineup, Memphis has a fully stacked lineup that's filled with depth.
The Memphis average the second most assists behind the Nuggets in the NBA (29.7), and most of that has been due to Morant. With an average of 7.6 dimes on the season, Morant can do it all. A versatile and athletic guard, Morant is normally on SportsCenter's top 10 for his highlight dunks.
However, what most people don't see is ability to push the pace and his dazzling passes. Clearing well over 7.5 assists in the last four matchups against Toronto, Morant is averaging 11 dimes over that span.
Given the Raptors allow 26.4 assists per game, we've seen Morant record 11, 13, 7, and 12 assists over the last six games. We can forget the 2 and 7 assist performances vs the Knicks and Jazz. Both were blowouts, and there wasn't need for Morant to stay on the court.
There's no doubt the absence of Desmond Bane will certainly affect this prop.
Overall, Jackson Jr is averaging 3.1 field goals assisted from Morant alone, and Zach Edey with 1.7 per game. While Bane is a crucial part of the offense, Morant has managed to survive from a betting standpoint without him.
Tallying 8+ assists in four of the last five games without Bane, Morant averaged 10.2 dimes over that span.
One of the better isolation players in the league (top 25), Morant is one of the best players in transition. Given the Grizzlies are the no.1. team in pace, there should be plenty of opportunities for Morant today. With that, the Raptors allow the 7th most scoring frequency in transition.
While it's unclear if Taylor Jenkins will keep Morant on a minutes restriction, he's coming off 29 minutes last game. When logging 29 minutes or more, Morant has soared over this line in two straight games vs the Hornets and Spurs.
If you're betting on the prop, the Raptors have let their foot off the gas a bit. Since the end of February, we've seen Trae Young (13), Dejounte Murray (8), and Ayo Dosunmu (8) soar over the 7.5 prop line today.
G: 28 | PPG: 11.5 | FG: 55.4 % | FT: 64.8 % | 3PT : 0 % | REB: 12.5 | AST: 4.3 | STL: 0.8| BLK: 1.2
My third player prop for today, I placed one unit on Thunder center Isaiah Hartenstein to record over 11.5 rebounds vs the Phoenix Suns today.
As I'm typing this, I just got word from ESPN's Shams Charania the Thunder are trading for big man Daniel Theis. With that, the move shouldn't affect this player prop tonight.
Coming over from the Knicks in free agency, Hartenstein has been spectacular in the absence of big man Chet Holmgren. Averaging 11.5 points and 12.5 rebounds, Harteinstein has added a level of elite rim protection for the Thunder.
As mentioned in previous articles, the Suns remain one of the least effective team on the boards (42.5). And we know this given Kevin Durant has been tasked with playing the five at times
Allowing the 11th most rebounds in the NBA, Hartenstein has an opportunity to feast tonight. Sure 11.5 rebounds is high, however, it's under his average rebound total for the season.
Soaring over this prop in six straight games, we've seen Hartenstein put up some huge games on the boards. Coming off 12 rebounds vs Giannis and the Bucks, the big man tallied 15 and 18 vs the Kings and Warriors.
Not dipping below 12 rebounds, Hartenstein is averaging 14.2 rebounds over the last six games. One of the more efficient players on the glass of late, Hartenstein has gone below 11.5 rebounds since January 10. That's nearly a month.
Overall, the Suns will be without star Kevin Durant, and they give up the 6th most rebounds to centers.
There's been trouble in the valley, with Nick Richards acquired and now in the starting lineup. Prior to that, Jusuf Nurkic was fully benched. With a small three-guard lineup, this is an absolute nightmare situation for the Suns to be in today. It wast just last week Ivica Zubac torched Phoenix for 16 rebounds.
