It's not often the Chicago Bulls -- at just 10-15 on the season -- are a sizable favorite, but that's the case on Friday night with the battered and bruised Charlotte Hornets in town.
Without LaMelo Ball, Charlotte stumbled into an eight-game losing streak, finally snapping the cold spell last time out in Indiana behind an inspired game from Brandon Miller. Can we expect him to shine once again here?
Let's build a same-game parlay for Hornets vs Bulls on Friday, December 13 and lay out a few props that will work well as standalone straight bets as well.

We're going to get a bit crazy here and put together an all-Hornets parlay. While Charlotte comes in as a massive underdog, I'm seeing some mispriced lines with oddsmakers still trying to make sense of the team's new rotation and against a struggling defense we should be able to cash in.
Brandon Miller will be our first stop -- and he's one of the few who's been accurately projected out by oddsmakers. His point total is set at a very sharp number relative to his recent outputs, but I do think there's a fair bit of value on his 3-pointers.
That should open the door for Miller, who has the ultra-green light with Ball now out of action. He's played 36 minutes per game since the injury, taking a ridiculous 13.3 3-pointers per game and 23 total shots on average.
Miller's still sitting around 37% from 3 on the season, and has shot it at 35% in these six games, and considering 54% of his shots have come from outside we can expect him to fire away all night long on a defense which has struggled to contain shooters.
The Bulls rank just 21st on the glass for the season, and over the last two weeks they remain 21st despite some fluctuation in their performance just about everywhere on the floor.
The big man has emerged as this team's best option down low, and against a Bulls team which sits 11th in shot frequency at the rim I expect plenty more run as Charlotte looks to combat this offensive-minded frontcourt.
While fouls have been an issue for Richards, too, it's worth noting that the Bulls are drawing the fewest fouls per 100 possessions in the entire league with opponents picking up just 16 per 100 possessions. That should keep Richards on the floor more than enough to get home here once again.
Finally, I want to talk about Vasilije Micic, the man who's taken over for Ball in the backcourt.
While he hasn't offered the same kind of scoring prowess as Ball, he's begun to really grow into his new role with 7.2 assists per game in his first six starts since the injury.
The Bulls have given up 28.2 assists per 100 possessions to opponents -- the fifth-most in the NBA -- and they rank just 21st in defensive efficiency in the last two weeks to set up a very friendly environment for offense here on the Hornets' side of things.
Micic should pass into plenty of shots around the arc as Charlotte exploits what's been a weak 3-point defense and fill the assists column as the three lead men for this team show up in Chicago.
