The Los Angeles Lakers are beginning to look like one of the better offenses in basketball, and after picking up some wins over lowly defenses they'll have a chance to put their form to the test against a hard-nosed Minnesota Timberwolves team on Monday.
Minnesota's remained a strong defensive team even with a slight dip in production to start the year, but its offense has been in a state of flux which should present some interesting options in the NBA Player Prop markets.
Let's build a same-game parlay for Lakers vs Timberwolves on Monday, December 2 and lay out a few props that will work well as standalone straight bets as well.

It hasn't exactly been a magical scoring run for LeBron James, who hadn't eclipsed 20 points until last game in Utah, but Monday's matchup promises to be one where he can find some success shooting the ball.
The Timberwolves are not only allowing 43.2% shooting from the mid-range, the eighth-highest mark in the league, but they're yielding an incredible volume to opponents in that zone with the fifth-highest shot frequency on defense.
That should mean James, who's shot mid-range jumpers with the third-highest frequency on the team and has improved his hit rate on these attempts by four percentage points, can score the ball at will here.
For better or for worse (who are we kidding, it's been for worse) the Timberwolves' clear-cut second fiddle this season is Julius Randle.
While he's helped tank this offense, it's been because he's refused to pass the ball. Randle has made sure he gets his on a nightly basis, shooting 14.5 shots per game, and there's little reason to expect any change on Monday against the team who drafted him into the NBA.
The big man sits just outside the top 25% of forwards in mid-range shooting, and just outside the top 30% at the rim. These zones account for a whopping 73% of his attempts, and while we think of the Lakers' frontcourt defense as a strength, they've ranked third-worst in rim defense and just 19th in the mid-range.
Expect plenty more shots to come from Randle's hands, and plenty to fall.
Donte DiVincenzo got to prove his worth as a passer with Mike Conley out with an injury last week, and he's seemed to continue on with his showcase since Conley's return two games ago to build a run of three or more assists in five of his last six games.
The former Knicks guard has piled up a hefty 22.7% assist rate in the last two games, and you have to love the matchup here against a Lakers team that's been incredibly weak inside.
DiVinzenzo should be able to get the ball into the hands of the many forwards on this team who can score inside like Randle and Edwards to earn some assists given the pair should get a ton of work done scoring the ball within 15 feet.
