It's Sunday, and there's an exciting slew of NBA games to bet on today! A month until the playoffs, let's finish out the season strong.

What better way to spend the day before Selection Sunday? There are eight games on the NBA schedule, three of which are primetime matchups.
For the early afternoon matchup, the top-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers have earned a franchise-best 16-game win streak. Can they continue against an injury-riddled Orlando Magic team? 11-point favorites, the Cavaliers are 2-0 ATS vs the Magic on the season.
The LeBron-less Lakers will host the Phoenix Suns in LA in a West Coast matchup. Three-point favorites at home, can the Lakers break their four-game losing skid without LeBron?
Get your popcorn out! There's a late-night showdown featuring the Oklahoma City Thunder and Milwaukee Bucks. What's better than a clash between Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Giannis Antetetokounmpo?

There's an exciting day of NBA ahead, and let's sweep today! With a 9-7 NBA betting record in my articles this week, let's cash out!
Here are my three best player prop bets for the Sunday, March 16 NBA games!
Are you looking to bet on NBA player props all season long? Here at Ballislife Bets, we've gathered a complete list of the best sports betting offers here.
PPG: 27.4 | FG: 44.5 % | FT: 76.3 % | 3PT : 35 % | REB: 8.4 | AST: 7.7 | STL: 1.9 | BLK: 0.4
Last time I bet on Lakers star Luka Doncic, he was ruled out, so let's try again!
Today, I placed one unit on Doncic to record over 3.5 made threes against the Phoenix Suns. What's better than a nationally televised game between these two teams? With LeBron James out of the lineup again, Doncic has the chance to feast at home.
We know the Suns have had a volatile season, especially on the defensive end. This is a Phoenix team that allows just shy of of 10 three-point attempts per game to point guards. Now they will get Luka, who's been sizzling beyond the three-point line.
By far the primary star and bar handler for the Lakers right now, we saw Doncic put up a team high 27 field goal attempts vs the 126-106 loss against the Bucks.
7-13 from three-point range, Doncic has recorded 4+ three-pointers in four of the last five games. Averaging five trey balls per game, Luka has been spectacular. Now all the Lakers need is put themselves in the win column.
Without James, we know Doncic will continue to pick up the slack, aside from Austin Reaves and Dalton Knecht. Mind you, Knecht, Dorian Finney-Smith, and Gabe Vincent are all questionable to today's game. Plus, Rui Hachmiura is out.
The Lakers leading scoring with 26.1 points per game, Doncic leads all Lakers with 3.4 three-pointers per game, in which he's shooting 34.4 percent. With 9.8 three-point attempts per game as a Laker, it's safe to say this is a strong player prop today.
After a tumultuous February, Doncic has been one of the more consistent shooters from the three-point line. Shooting 42.9 percent beyond the arc in March, Doncic is averaging 5.0 three-pointers made on 14 attempts per game.
Given Luka is playing 40 minutes per game, his shot volume is insane. With a consistent 10-13 three-point shot attempts per game, we caught the books sleeping on this line! Especially for a player that's averaging well over 40 percent from deep.
In two games without LeBron, Doncic has 53 shot attempts (26.5 FGA) per game. I only expect his production and volume to stay consistent with James out of the lineup. Especially against a Suns team, that allows the 6th most three-pointers per game (14).
PPG: 25.6 | FG: 40.4 % | FT: 83.8 % | 3PT : 33.7 % | REB: 5.1 | AST: 7.3 | STL: 1.2| BLK: 0.3
My second best player prop for today, I placed one unit on Charlotte Hornets star LaMelo Ball to record over 6.5 assists.
While the Hornets are all but out of playoff contention, Ball remains one of the premier facilitators in the NBA. With a tough matchup against the Clippers, LaMelo has been an assist machine as of late.
Averaging about 7.4 dimes on the season, I believe this prop line is set too low. Coming off 15 assists vs the Spurs, LaMelo got everyone involved. While all five Hornets starters scored points in double figures, Nick Smith Jr. erupted for 26 points off the bench alone.
When is the last time you heard of the Hornets make a franchise record 23 three-pointers? LaMelo Ball is that good, and makes everyone around him better. When healthy, he hasn't scratched the surface of his potential.
Recording 7+ assists in the last four games, Ball is averaging 10.3 assists per game. In fact, LaMelo is performing at such a high level despite losing Brandon Miller to a season-ending wrist injury.
No. 11 in the NBA with 12.7 potential assists per game, Ball is No. 9 in the NBA with 18.9 assists points creating. To add to that, he's doing this without a ton of star power on the team. Imaging if the Hornets can somehow lure in big name free agents?
Overall, Ball is a playmaking machine, and is known for the flashy passes. Notching 7+ assists in five of the last six games, we've seen Ball perform at the highest level against top teams.
Recording seven assists vs the Cavaliers, Ball tallied nine against the kings, and seven vs the Warriors last month.
Although on the road, Ball last had 12 assists against the Clippers in LA. Although that took place in 2022, the Clippers backcourt hasn't changed much. With James Harden as the helm, newly acquired Bogdan Bogdanovich will get the starting nod if Norman Powell is unable to suit up.
It's been a while since Ball has last seen the Clippers. Recording 22 assists over the last two matchups, the Clippers are giving up just shy of nine assists per game to point guards. If today's game is a blow out, I can see this soaring under, the Clippers defense is no joke.
Aside from it all, I like the 6.5 line. Expecting this to increase, we saw Trae Young and Tyler Herro recently tally seven assists each vs the Clippers. Post NBA All-Star game, the Clippers are allowing the 15th most assists per game (26.6).
PPG: 33 | FG: 52.8 % | FT: 90.2 % | 3PT : 37.6 % | REB: 5.1 | AST: 6.2 | STL: 1.8| BLK: 1.0
My third player prop bet, I placed one unit on Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to record over 33.5 points vs the Bucks for -122 odds.
SGA has been playing out of his mind, and is the leading NBA MVP candidate next to Nikola Jokic. I've faded this prop once, and I'm not doing so again. Gilgeous-Alexander get's a primetime matchup to cook up on national television, why would I ever fade this!?
Playing the best basketball of his career, Gilgeous-Alexander lit up the Detroit Pistons for 48 points on Saturday. Averaging 38.6 points in Match, SGA is locked in. When I mean locked in, this man is in another stratosphere!
Already recording a 51 point performance vs a stingy Rockets defense this month, Gilgeous-Alexander now has three 40+ performances in March. Soaring under 33.5 points just twice in March, this is a strong play today.
The NBA's leading scorer with 33 points per game, SGA has truly separated himself from the rest in the MVP talks. In 12 games post NBA All-Star break, he's averaging 35.4 points. With that, the shooting averages are impeccable.
Not the strongest three-point shooter in the league, Gilgeous-Alexander is shooting 44.6 percent beyond the arc, and 55 percent from the field since the break.
Along with those insane percentages, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander leads the NBA in field goal attempts (21.7) and field goals made (11.9) since all-star weekend. Playing near 36 minutes per game, the shot volume and percentages are there. SGA is locked in, until he proves otherwise, I'll take the over on this player prop all day.
While the Bucks are playoff contenders, they've continued to show their weakness on defense. With that, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will have a prime matchup against Milwaukee today.
Given the Bucks allow the most points to point guards (26), I can't think of a case why this number would soar under. Set to play his third game in four days, fatigue may set in from SGA. However, this is what separates the MVP race.
